We are rumoered to every CB around today. Why dont we save the money and try Tomori- Kalulu as CB pairing? The potensial is explosive. Both have tremendous physical attributes in speed, agility and strenght. They are both good with ball to feet, they are very agressive, and as a team we can have a very high line because of their speedy recovery. They may miss something in positioning but that comes with routine and playing regularly together. I think it could very exiting. Kalulu has the gift to be really versatile, så he slots in perfectly if Calabria i out. Then Romagnoli/Gabbia take the CB position.
Why not save the money on yet an talented CB and try the ones we have? Better use the money on a gifted attacker..
Milan long term RW target Ikone going to Fiorentina
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
Corriere della Sera are reporting that Kjaer will have to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee tomorrow to repair ligament damage and the involvement of the cruciate ligament and the damage to the collateral ligament means that the 32-year-old is looking at six months out, which means his season is over and Milan will now have to intervene on the market.
I prefer we go for Alvarez for attack
We have December to evaluate the CB options. Kalulu can do well, but this is also a chance for Gabbia. He was excellent prior to his injury last year. He then didn't play for months and understandably struggled vs Fiorentina. He did well yesterday, but I understand that was only Genoa.
Fact of the matter is that if Gabbia can't be trusted with Kjaer's injury, then he needs to go on loan and be replaced in January.
I don't trust Romagnoli. The "Sassuolo episode" has been a repetitive problem for him since he's been here. We don't know what kind of condition Kjaer will return in. So we have a problem to solve this January and also next summer.
Interesting thing is that Tomori enjoys better performances on the left. That couold be due to Kjaer as well so who knows. But he's not as much at ease on the right next to Romagnoli. Therefore, to get the best out of him on the left side, I really wanna see how Kalulu plays next to him on the right.
Quick question: what happened to Gabbia yesterday? He was subbed in and subbed out. That doesn't happen too often.
