Winter mercato 2022
AC Milan know that they must act quickly and decisively to bring a quality defender to the squad given the centre-back emergency, with Bremer and Sven Botman reportedly targeted. Milan have apparently made the choice to sign a ready-made and high-level centre-back.

I will never forget Allegri insisted playing Thiago Silva in Coppa Italia, and ended up injuring him which eventually cost us the Scudetto (and the banter era ensued). Angry

I think part of the reason he started Tomori was to get him back to game conditioning too. COVID can have some adverse affects on players' lungs and a lot of them struggle to get back into game condition when they return from it.

“Too many names have been mentioned with regards to Milan, as some have been frankly invented. We prefer to do things behind the scenes and not through the media."

I am hoping and assuming that rules out fodder like Bailly, Tanganga and Sarr.

Casale or Viti  is more likely to be someone we would target.
BUT if Tomori is out long term, look out. We'll probably get a junk signing like Bailly for sure.

Casale is bang average till now for Verona.
Viti is good prospect, physically strong, a sense of position and has a good left foot, quite indiscipline but will improve in future, maybe a poor man's Bastoni, who knows?
I would prefer Phil Jones over Bailly. He is that crap of a player.
Tangana is worst rated defender by Spurs fans on twitter of what I read
I will take Malang Sarr for 6 months loan, hint of another Tomori? but it would be laughable that we passed on the oppertunity to sign him for fee in 2020 summer, we were linked...
Forza Diavolo ale!!!

To be honest, I did think of that, but Spezia isn't a monster team and that could have been the game to get him back to form. Sagrin
Man Utd offer Van de Beek out on loan – Milan, Inter and Juventus interested.

Di Marzio reports Milan will send a new offer for Botman or Bremer.

When is Romagnoli back ? Gabbia got booked last match so has to be even more careful.

Blessing in disguise. We might get a good CB.  Sagrin
Romain Faivre's agent has held talks with PSG. Faivre open to the move as he is from the Paris suburbs and have friends and family there.
Milan’s mercato activity should heat up towards the end of the month of January, according to the well-known journalist Carlo Pellegatti.

Pellegatti spoke in his YouTube channel (via NotizieMilan) and gave an update on the Rossoneri’s current transfer plans. He started by revealing his hope that Milan try and sign Bremer from Torino ahead of next season, even if there will be a very tough battle with rivals Inter.

Pellegatti remarked that the Rossoneri’s January mercato ‘will light up from January 20th’ because Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are ‘preparing everything’ now but ‘concrete moves’ should arrive in a ‘very hot end of January’.

What the hell is taking so damn long? The team is running out of defenders as it is but we have to wait so we can save, what, another million euros? This team needs some action to keep up pace or else the scudetto hope will be gone in no time.
