My issue is a general one, not about one window. Also keeping pace is about smarts not matching or counting euros.
Just a random example, not saying this is the case: buying a 50 million player when he is needed beats buying Samu for 20. That 50 million will not hurt in FFP either (compared to the 20) cause if it is an identified need it will help with revenue like CL qualification and more points within the qualification so more UEFA euros. If 90% of people who watch games and say Kerkez is for the future and he is gone in one year than that's wrong. If 90% of people who watch Ligue 1 say Faivre can help us 14 million is not more "expensive" than 0. His price is 14 now, it could be 25 in summer, waiting for summer solves nothing and it might be counter productive if that one player meant a few more points in the table.
