A report in Spain has claimed that Tiemoue Bakayoko’s loan spell at AC Milan could end early and he may be used in an exchange deal involving Chelsea and Sevilla. 

Bakayoko and cash would be sent to Seville for Jules Koundé.


His situation with Milan must be resolved first.

I don't see a problem there. If Chelsea is willing to cut the loan off at 1 year, shouldn't be a problem. I was always worried that it woukd be them to oppose that in order to keep his salary off their books. In which case, we'd be stuck with him for another year. But if they find a solution for him elsewhere, I think we shoul gladly accept the loan cancellation.

Well, depends on how you look at it.

One way is that the clubs who believed in them and made them who they are won't receive a transfer fee. Which is a bad thing at least if it's our players...

The other way is that they honoured a contract which was signed by both/all parties.

Leonardo won't be able to sign anything as he's getting thrown out.

Barcelona have declared themselves out of the running to land Franck Kessie because the Milan midfielder’s salary demands are ‘exorbitant’, especially given their salary limits.

I would not renew him at this point, and i would actually "freeze" him out. By freeze out, i don't mean having him train on his own or anything like that. But just have him be the last option in the midfield. We'll be, and have been, fine without him.

If players have "the right to see out their contracts and create bidding wars around their salaries" (i don't disagree, it's fine), then clubs shouls also have the right to looo after themselves and prep/build for after that contract expiry.

And the whole argument of "if we don't play him we only hurt ourselves because we are hurting our chance of making the CL and will therefore lose money"?.....not valid imo. Kessie has been average for half the season, gone for a bit, and mediocre in the CL. We've proven we don't need him to make the CL, so, peace out. Go and make as much as you can make. Good for you. But, we are fibe.
