Sassuolo have set a €30M price tag on Domenico Berardi. They have a serious interest in Junior Messias and have asked Milan for information on Tommaso Pobega. 

We don't currently own Messias. I would rather offer Salad. He is young enough to develop at Sassuolo. I'm not convinced Sass would want Messias even if we do buy him.

Memphis Depay has requested to leave Barcelona on a free transfer. Since Koeman was replaced,  Delay has slipped down the pecking order.
Juventus and Milan have made enquiries.

I'm getting excited about Berardi rumors. I've thought about him being ideal for that RW position for a while now. Not the flashiest name on the market but I think he's just what we're missing. I'd love to know if there is a statistic for how many times he takes a shot on goal or puts a dangerous ball in box when in possession. He's so direct & worth the 30m IMO. If we could include Krunic/counterparts that would be even better. He's in his prime so I don't think we get much from him on a resale which makes me doubt Eliot would endorse a 30m signing who is turning 28.

Depay isn't someone who excites me. He'll be like Sanchez at merda. Good player, but always a shadow of what everyone thought he could be. Plus I don't think he has a great attitude & current group doesn't need that.

Sanches+Botman+Berardi with Adli coming in and we are a world class team truthfully. We'll compete on all fronts next season provided we also have decent enough depth.

Also, that Lazetic from his videos is a big striker who can really move. We may have just bought our bargain Vlahovic.

I think it's a good option to try to build something with Sassuolo because I would like Frattesi as well.

As for Messias,  I think he has shown enough to be a sub for Berardi/Raphinha or whoever.



Well, so far this year he has missed 3 games. 1 from covid, 1 from suspension and 1 from injury. 
So far so good.

Hoping we can get the price down with Saladmaker,  Krunic thing's like that and some cash too.

I like Messias but he's older so not really a long term option as backup RW. Is handy though considering the cheap cost and can play CAM also. A more effective option compared to Saladmaker.

Not sure I agree Berardi is injury prone.

That's no more than the average player. 

The worry with Sanches is he's had some muscular issues in the past few seasons. and Milan Lab generally makes that problem worse, not better.

obviously not free but would rather Berardi.
I feel Depay plays better as a second striker or on the left. and we don't really need either of those right now.

I would Loooove to get Barardi. have been a fan of his for a while. and we've needed a RW for so long.

Sanches+Botman+Berardi+Belotti would be a dream mercato and manageable. Belotti because we need to a Striker and comes free. 
But we're probbaly talking up to 90m for the other three. not sure how we can make that work. Would need some very clever accounting.
