I wonder if it is because the Spurs didn't want to pay for his agent's commission. Kessie is a nice player but he is far from top 10 player at his position in the world and most teams wouldnt want to pay out the ass just to sign him.

Base on this season performance, Tonali and Bennacer are both better than Kessie IMO. I definitely won't pay through the nose for Kessie.

Ziyech very well may be purchased we've been heavily linked. Now that Chelsea will seemingly go under it seems like a perfect opportunity.

Thiago Silva as a nostalgic signing but most other Chelsea players I'd be lukewarm towards for various reason.
