He's been solid for a decent part of this season. Might not get that many goals but works hard, constantly causes the opposition headaches and creates room for other players to move into. Perfect addition for a front three of Leao-Belotti-Berardi. The more work Belotti does, the more space players like Leao and Berardi have to move into.
Would be a great addition to the squad for free. Although, as above, would love for us to get Raspadori.
even better if we could get Both. have those two plus Giroud given Raspadori can assist out wide also.
But would only go down that route if we sell off Rebic. and could bring in a younger LW as backup.

Rudiger is free still come end of June.
I guess it depends if management want that younger guy with a view to permanent Tomori partner or a happy with another experienced player. Rudiger can play LB/RB too I think.
If we sign someone like him then we have ample cash to get a RW/CF.
Also, the budget would be more with JPH sale and possible Paqueta windfall as well. Let's see what happens.

Especially for free. He is a decent player in all fairness works pretty hard and he's got good decision making I noticed. A lot of Torino players messing up passes/one touches but Belotti almost never put a foot wrong. He is very good at touch and go football.
On a side note, with each growth phase of this team which I think will be competing for CL very soon (fingers crossed) - I notice Kessie starting to look out of place. Lethargic, lacking ideas. All he really contributes at this point to our team is strength and work horse.
We need a CB for sure. Whether that's a 30M player or not, remains to be seen. But we can't rely in Tomori, Kalulu and Kjaer (who knows what player comes back) for the whole season in 3 competitions. Romagnoli is as good as gone and Gabbia simply needs to play and be loaned out. He won't see much playing time and we'll end up exhausting the CB duo by the time December rolls around.
So this is why I don't mind spending some cash on Botman.

The thing i dont like a about signing Botman despite his qualities is that he sure will be a starter together with Tomori. I dont want Kalulu to be a sub and possibly stop his development.
I wonder if the staff sees Kalulu as the first choice RB next year? Yes we all love Calabria for all his passion for our colours, he is a good defender defensively, but does he has the qualities to take this team to the next level? We saw in CL that he has his limits against the very best. He is a good tackler, fine stamina, grit and passion, but he dont have Kalulu speed which is so important in the modern game, he is not so calm with the ball as Kalulu, and i think Kalulu has wastly more potensial going forward. You saw it with his goals for France U team. He has important offensive qualities.
A backline with Theo- Tomori- Botman- Kalulu is somethink really exiting. With a backline like this we can stay extremely high on the pitch when everyone has great speed in the backline. This will fit Pioli style perfect.

Rudiger would be a good pick up actually. Like you said. he's versatile too.

I would LOVE Botman. but we also need a RW and I'm a huge fan of Raspadori. as much as I'd love to get Botman, I'd rather get Raspadori. for me a new CM and a new RW is a MUST then it's a matter of whether we get a top CB and a decent ST or a top ST and a decent CB.

that is the other downside to getting Botman. Kalulu has been killing it. It's good he's capable of playing RB too but he's been exceptional as CB so would rather go down the route of replacing Calabria if we deem it necessary rather than moving Kalulu over.
Pedulla saying we're after Asllani, first talks initiated, they want around 10mil for him and we're keen to get him and leave him on loan at Empoli for another year.

As reported by the journalist Gerard Romero who covers the Catalan club closely, Barcelona reached an agreement with Kessie during talks that took place last night and the operation can be considered closed.
The Ivorian will remain with the Rossoneri until the end of the season and then will start a new experience in Spain, moving on a free transfer. What is interesting is that Romero adds (via BarcaInfo) that he will earn €4m net per season plus €2.5m in potential bonuses, which would be less than the reported offers from Milan.
