Do you see us playing CL football for the next three years? I think yes. And so I believe if we can qualify for CL three years in a row, we can definitely afford the wage.

Yeah, but that is a little simplistic. I mean, we could just as well use that future money to either buy new players or upgrade current players salaries. 

I think Dybala would be a great upgrade. I'm just pessimistic about players here and injury. I have similar feelings towards Renato. I know that in perfect world these guys are upgrades. But look at Rebic. When you have a good player that can't play then others players (Leao) take on extra minutes and become less effective or injured. 

No thanks to Luiz Alberto. Let's go for CL/Scudetto quality, not just qualifying for CL quality.

I wonder if Dybala would accept an Ibra like compromise? I think I read that Ibra resigned last year but wage was contingent on games played g(or available). Dybala is a clear superstar, but he will probably want a three year deal. Can we afford to have that amount of wage tied up in him? More importantly, will Elliott?

Not for anything but our wage bill right now is a total joke. It's 70m and will be close to 60 with Ibra expiring and Kessie leaving. Whether Elliott wants to is a different story but affordability is a joke with our current wage bill.

Why do you bother so much with wage structure. You a are a football fan not a Elliot shareholder. Just see it like this, if we had Dyballa instead of Diaz this season, we would be champions.

It's because we know Elliot has a wage structure. We can't sign any player without considering that fact.

Messi or Neymar alone = our entire squads wage bill

I mean in all fairness I get Elliott's wage structure stuff but like OK we win the scudetto this year let's say, how do we compete past that ever? Almost every top 6 club in EPL has 3 players that equal our entire wage bill. Same with top 3-4 clubs in Spain etc.

Saving is great & massive Kudos to Maldini for what he's done with what we pay for it, but if Elliott can't bump up that wage bill by at least 30m to make us more competitive come next year then they better hurry up and sell the club.

I can't see another game let alone another season of Messias on our RW.

Wages, like all expenses, should be budgeted. To be self sustainable (1st) than turn a profit, margins have to be respected. So wages, like I said, should be in proportion about the same (in terms of % or revenue) and be closely alligned with that self sustainability model. If we raise revenues by 50M, i expect wages to raise proportionally. The trouble in football is that contracts to players are guaranteed but revenue from prize money/achievements/etc is not. So for a club like Milan, CL money is a big portion of our overall revenue. But it's not guaranteed from year to year. This is why commercial revenue is so important. The sponsorships we are signing are excellent. Some complain why they are not worth more...but the fact is that these are multi year contracts that guarantee money. So you can safely plan and include these in your budget no matter if you have an off year on the field.

We'll see what happens. But I for one am very happy with the management of the club. They've stabilized the environment in a short amount of time. You can see why Elliot has done what they've done in their history. It speaks for them. On the contrary, an idiot "businessman" like Lee is now probably scrubbing toilets. There is (99% of the time) no short cut to success. I'm happy Elliot is taking their time and not jumping ahead of themselves.

Maldini has to get serious this summer and work on quality transfers. Things dont go well with Man City rejects, Crotone loanees, and dudes from Belgium beach volley teams. He can start from tonoght on by offloading Pobega+cash and getting Bremer instead. The guy is a beast, (havent seen Botman tbh), but Bremers advantage would be having played in A already and knowing the league well. Getting Singo and offloading Florenzi would add physicality + pace for the right wing. The dude attacks well too, defends also well. ... Brahim, oh Brahim.....i am getting vomit attacks when i see him play... God save us from worse...Salad + Messias, make me look if Castilejo is on the bench

Being cheap only gets you so far, last summer's signings have all been massive flops.
