I'm probably in the minority....but I hope we stay away from Zaniolo. Imo, he is very overrated and if that wasn't enough, comes with a baggage and a crap ton of attitude. Italian media has made him a star, yet his performances on the field and even more so his stats are dreadful. Can't believe I'm about to say this, but in what way has he even been better than Saelemaekers...let alone by 25M?

Agreed nefremo. Zaniolo is way overpriced. And two really serious injuries when you are 22 years old? Not very good...

So with RedBird taking over and Elliott still being a partner, we are guaranteed financial security. Apparently Gerry has backing from Goldman Sachs as being the prior CEO or something along those lines handling over 100 billion in assets, he has access to investor funds in and around that amount. Seems like a different business model than say PSG, but equally powerful and capable.

I'm happy for American owners, he seems like he'll show his face more which I like a lot. He couldn't stop talking about the celebrations which he was a part of etc.

Great interview. He looks fired up to get us to the very top. I will not be surprised if we get a 200 mill budget. As he says: " I love to win, i hate to loose, and i am a little impatient".
