That's just stupid. No matter how much money you got....that's just dumb. Have they seen him play? Did someone show them videos of his time at Ajax and they just got all heated up? De Ligt has been trash in Juventus. One of the most clumsy defenders I've seen. I feel like the dude "shinns" the ball at least once a game. I don't know. It's simply unreal what EPL sides are doing. I get they have money. Good for them. They earned it through brilliant marketing, etc, etc. Not mad at that at all. I'm more mad at the Gallianis of Italian Football. So this rant isn't about envy of the EPL. Again, good for them. But they've literally ruined the market with these prices. How stupid can they actually be?

De Ligt was poor last year. He's been poor the entire time in Italy, really. All he's got left is a name at this point. He is still young obviously and can bounce back...but imo he was really exposed at Juventus.
If Tomori goes to the WC and plays only 1 (good) game, we're gonna have EPL sides offering insane amounts next summer. I swear, it's as if money has made them dumber than shit! And they couldn't care any less. They can afford to miss a 100mil transfer. No problem. Come next summer, they'll have their cash restocked so who cares I guess. It's a really irresponsible way to do business.

I don't get this. Paolo says we want to be competitive in the CL, but than we keep Messias and Saele. News flash....we were NOT competitive in the CL with these 2 as our RWs last year. Why would this year be any different?
Messias is a nice player to have for some Serie A/Copa games where he can get some minutes when needed. But other than that, not sure what kind of expectations we can really have with him and Saele. Unless Saele is leaving and another RW arrives, I would be very disappointed with this. The Scudetto was a great achievement, but I won't let it erase all the frustrations we all had about our attack, more specifically, our right side. It was not good. It was like a black hole in our build up, because every time the ball would go on that side in the final 3rd, we'd just lose it or kill the attack somehow.
Not sure what to think now. I'll wait until the market finishes to see what happens...but surely if Saele and Messias stay, we won't sign another RW and that's just REALLLYY disappointing.
A real RW not being number 1 target is baffling and disappointing at same time. And then, if we are signing that good RW there is no reason to keep both Alexis and Messias, this would fall under poor squad management (increase squad size, etc)
Its an absolute shame if we dont get a new RW. My aunt at 80 years old will see that we need that sorely..
