If we are willing to pay him 6m a year, he would already be here but we simply are not interested to pay 36m over 3 years for Dybala while we can get CDK. CDK will cost us 10+m a year vs Dybala at 12m. If given a choice, I would pick CDK. Maldini would keep picking the younger option over experience.

Picking youth over experience is fine, saving a bit is fine. But we haven't done any of it. Adli and Origi were agreed before May. It is not exaggeration to say Florenzi, Messias were known transactions before May too. We are sitting here second half of July and we haven't done a single move after getting pot 1 and scudetto. It's a pity as much as it is concerning.

But will they be weaker? So far they've only lost Perisic. Yes, he was good for them last season...but in return, they brought back Lukaku.

We'll see if the whole "have to end the market with 60+" is correct, I guess. If so, they'll have to sell 1 more big player. We'll see who and if that makes them weaker. If not, I'd argue they've gotten better.

Anyway, I'm not too concerned about anyone in Italy to be honest. Our youg team will improve even more, naturally (you'd think). We play modern, vertical and intense football. We play at a "European" tempo. With more maturity, self belief and courage to do the things we do, even in difficult situations, we'll be fine.

Having said that, we are missing quality in the final 3rd. We've known that. We need a RW and an ACM/CM. With thise 2 additions, we're golden. I don't care what Inter or Juventus do. They will not be able to match us. 
(Btw, that's talking about starters....we's still need a CB and a LB to complete the squad)
