Look at the players we are linked with recently. How will any one of them make the difference between failed and not failed? I mean, we're only linked to backup players who most likely won't contribute with anything in the near future. Onyedika, Onana, Chalobah, Thiaw and so on. Not exactly top shelf.

Chaka Traore is probably talented and can become good, but at 17 I'm 99.9% sure he is nowhere near Messias and Saelemaekers just yet.

Yes, it would be a fail because we have NOT replaced Kessie or Romagnoli (now fixed with Thiaw). These are holes in our plans since we wasted way too much time on Sanches and Botman. 
We have added depth and I did say that with who we are linked to maybe they're good, maybe not.

Onana and Enzo would of come in and played. Like Adli and CDK it would take a while but I think they would play a lot.
Onana is a rock,  hence why Inter are trying to get in on the deal.
Enzo is tearing up Portugal,  make of that what you will
Ondeikya, I will give you that because I don't know much about him.

17 isn't too young when we've debuted Cristante and Snake at 16 (yes, different time's and manager's)and Chaka has played in Serie A , this is the perfect time to have him in the squad.

I'm surprised we got him for €5M since he is a starter and capped for German U21.

Strong, left sided CB and quite tall. Pretty quick to I believe. 

Perfect Romagnoli replacement.

Pretty raw. Played in the German 2nd division last year. His team got smashed 1-6 at home today and he did a Romagnoli v Berardi on one of the goals which is not a good look.

Gabbia is much more ready/mature so signing Thiaw to replace him, if he leaves, does not make sense. Then again Milan's mercato has not made much sense either.

We should look at Soumare. Hasn't fit in at Leicester but was very good at Lille. Covers DM/CM.

We’ve also signed many players wich teams got relegated.
I’ve started to look up some things about him and he is highly regarded by many. Looks like a steal for 5m.
BTW I wouldnt let Gabbia go on loan, we need both. Remember our injury crisis last season and the one before. We need both, also we dont know how fit Kjaer is.
