Just curious. Is this your personal opinion or do people in MM in general would like avoid posts about politics, religion, sex, etc... 

It is a positive thing all of us agreeing on a particular rule. However being ruled by one man's decisions is another thing entirely even if it prevents sensitive discussions

It has always been like this, a forum is not a place to talk about 'preventions' except per the rules, for example I would love 10 times the activity but a football forum is not twitter, the rules regarding politics have been here since 1999 and they are needed even more these days. I don't know if I call it an opinion, I call it what is good for a football forum.

I get it Reza, but it's not the answer of the question. I am not arguing with the logic here. I am just asking if this is supported by everyone or not. What if majority of the people like to talk about politics in this forum for instance? What are we gonna do? Ban everyone and continue MM with 5 people? Do you find it fair to prevent people doing something without knowing if they agree with that rule in the first place?

MM is not the place for politics, majority of us might like to talk about weather too, it means nothing to be honest. It might not be against any rules to talk weather but there is a topic, politics, that is explicitly mentioned in the rules.

In the past, I saw few forums "deteriorate" after politics talks are allowed. Cause people are not able to "separate" and, after they go into some political debate where they have strongly opposite opinions - they can't have healthy discussion about sports (or any) topics ever again, because they became infuriated with each others (I don't want to talk with that libtard/bigot/trumpist/killarist/racist/you name it) and they became something like "mortal enemies" If forum have block option, than you end up with bunch of users who blocked each others...
It's definitely better to keep those things away...

this. too many people not able to talk politics without taking comments as personal attacks and then every discussion turns into a shit flinging competition. we're all here for football and Milan so better that crap stays out of here. seen way too many good FB groups and other forums go to crap because of dscissions like those.
