Because the big clubs already milked the big names for their big trophies, so except the new clubs possessed their own big names, the departure is likely a downward spiral.

For example, I don't think Casemiro will win CL or EPL with MU.

Sad/funny Serie D level stuff.

We are way too nice to players, way too nice. It is overdone for the sake of who knows what, may be the culture at the club thinks just because players like Ibra feel attached to the team every player that plays for Milan needs to be given some sort of 'family' status. There is really no need for this cause the Milan name should and is enough now. History and prestige is not written off just because we call an agent and tell him we need an answer or bye bye.

That family thing only can work if it's both ways. In the past it was a "Milan thing", but we had players who respected club and club respected them. Today those kind of players are hard to find, not just here but anywhere, 90% of them are just mercenaries. You can't build "family environment" with them.
Milan reminds me on some nostalgic hopeless romantic who's stuck in the past and refuses to go on with time, and so being used and milked by pretty much anyone around him.
Those times are long gone and will not come back. Ever. Just start treat players in the same way they're treating club...
