No. not worth even cent. 3 good games per year must not be enough... We must try to find better solutions...

Diaz's potential is gradually uncovered and Milan knows the best after 3 years of directly working.
It is hard to find a better solution, especially after what we witnessed in CDK, Adli & Vranckx. I mean we must count the years invested in developing Diaz.

We must accept and acknowledge that years invested in "developing Diaz" are failed project. So, instead of wasting our money and more years into "further developing" we should turn to other solutions.
And we should stop using excuses like "it's hard", "considering circumstances", "in this situation" etc... Hard times are chance for people (yes M&M i'm speaking about you) to show their true value. Maybe CDK as well needs three years to gradually uncover his potential? Adli and Vranckx we can't judge because we didn't saw them on the field much... But even if they're all flops, that's not the reason to gave up and settle for bellow-ish average(Diaz).

But the Diaz project has failed until now because Pioli used almost 3 years to find out that he is a quality player as a RW. he gets eaten in the middle, but when he gets room and a better vision his quality is all to see. So lets see what he brings to the table this last two months as a RW.
He had those "adventures into good" even in the past. Remember beginning of last season, but than he turns back into bad. No consistency at all. We can not afford to spend half or third of our transfer budget to a player who have two or three acceptable months during season.
I mean sure, if we had 200M budget, than to spend 25M on him and to use him as some rotation option, but to build with him as one of "important figures" - no, just no...

Calciomercato: CDK is not a good fit for this Milan side which relies heavily on counter-attacking and breaking at speed. His signing currently looks like a ‘tactical as well as an economic misunderstanding’.

Is our management picking their targets on pure luck rather than meticulously analyzing the players?

Tuttosport: Origi's poor performances have convinced Milan to buy another striker to partner with Olivier Giroud for next season. Among the main names under observation is 22-year-old Victor Boniface, a Nigerian striker for Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium. Boniface has 6 goals in 30 league appearances.
The new Origi?

This starts to reek as one of those "brotherly business" schemes, because it seems we're unable to buy anyone who's not based in French or Belgian clubs + Chelsea and Real.
