That's possible, unless the injury situation keeps going. On the other hand, maybe Ibrahimovic could get a rest once in a while which would be good.

lol, I am not a fan of negotiating in public and I have no problem saying Galliani is one of the guiltiest in that sense. But I think Man City will eventually 'lose' this one whether it's to Milan or some other team...

They want upwards of 30 million almost if not more than they payed.This would be fine if there was not a long list of problems..loan to test the water and 20 - 24 million buy out is fare.It's City that are not being realistic just stubborn..he has a big attitude problem and just fupped off home refused to play these things bring his overall value down not to peanuts but down.And City just refuse this as fact

While this, and the news from the bbc (both sounding "pro City") makes it seem like the clowns are really going to have the player sit on his arse for 2.5 years, I doubt that this will indeed happen.

Any court, anywhere wouldnt allow an employee who behaved in a similar manner to face such consequences, and this has the potential, as has been mentioned, to become another 'Bosman' type scenario...the thing is, will it drag out over several years?

If I sat my ass , I'd be fired so any court may say let this man go...he doesn't deserve to work...but in all fairness and some of the English may agree...the Guardian and Telegraph while not gospel..are more reliable than any other tripe outhere..I think its City trying to look strong you know , as In Milan have no chance then BOOM!! Hi guys...been awhile! Although, been reading everybody's posts...great read!

In regards to the Tevez saga, I'm all for his arrival...only IF we get him on our terms! Which at the moment looks a 50/50 scenario if you take into account all the current media speculations! I understand why Man City want to play hard ball with Milan and in particular with Tevez because they want to teach him a lesson, but they are going end up shooting themselves in the foot!

As I understand, please correct me if I'm wrong! Tevez's contract has a exit clause which allows him to leave at the end of this season. I think if he hasn't played a certain number of games he is allowed to leave? Not sure if this is official within his contract? Why would Man City play hard ball with Tevez, just suck it up and at least get something out of the deal with Milan. They will end up geting nothing, and Tevez will come to Milan on a bosman transfer at the end of the season! Quite stupid on Man city behalf, and quite smart on Galliani to firstly agree personal terms with Tevez putting Man City in difficult position!

It will be interesting how this plays out! If I was in B & G shoes, I would seriously be looking at reinforcing our midfield and full-back stocks to ease the pressure on our forwards! I see huge potential in El Shaarawy, give Pato/Robinho more playing time to gradually find their form! Thank God Ibra is on fire at the moment!!
