Yup.. To be fair though I can't say any of our summer signings have turned out bad. Like they all individually have their talent and it's pretty clear. Loftus moves like Yaya Toure on his game and I think he's starting to find some consistency.

Pulisic, Reijnders, Musah etc they all just need consistency but they've had multiple moments of playing brilliantly. The talent is there, it seems like our biggest problems are when we just turn off and don't play the time of game I know we can play and that we see at times. I think its a Pioli problem, and not from a tactical perspective but rather as managing the team. A guy like Conte for example, would keep the players motivated all year and focused. Why we lose focus so many times where it proves to be costly + injuries have been our two biggest issues. When we do play good, its fluent and distinctive.. There's something there but we're clearly missing something. Doesn't help that our super star players like Leao and Theo have been a bit inconsistent, especially Leao - but Theo too had a stretch of not playing terrible but just not being very effective at all. He seems back lately whereas Leao is a bit meh.. His head got too big getting the #10 and everyone singing his praises IMO.
Kylian Mbappes mother: Kylian told me that Milan has to be a part of his career at some point, probably closer to the end of his career. He was a die hard fan his entire life. When he'd return home from practice all he would talk about was Milan. If Milan would lose he would throw the remote at the TV and say some bad words he knew in Italian.
Cmon man skip Madrid and take a pay cut we need you <3

Apparently we're working to secure signing Guirassy but as of right now agent requests are very high. Why does this seem to be a recurring issue.

On another note, taking Gabbia back was a smart idea. I'm sorry but there is nothing like Italian defenders. It's an art and they have always been the best in the business. Sure Thiaw, Kalulu seem a lil cleaner on the ball and whatnot but Gabbia feels more secure for me. Italian defenders play rough and know how to be aggressive, nothing fancy get the ball back and get it out no BS defending. I always really liked Gabbia.
Gabbia has always been good enough for a squad player. But letting him go out on loan was the right thing to do, especially for him. It did him no good to sit on the bench. In hindsight, seeing how many injuries we had in the 1st part of the season, he would have played quite a bit here.

Anyway, bringing him back was a no brainer. He's a player that has already played for us, knows Pioli and the staff, knows the players, etc. So we were getting a ready made player and we knew exactly what to expect. I'm glad we did that instead of "panic spending" on a player in January that would have been more risky anyway. First off, knowing Pioli, he would have kept him on the sideline for a month "to learn and adapt". By then, Tomori would be back anyway.
Milan goalkeeper Devis Vasquez is set to return early from his loan spell with English side Sheffield Wednesday after playing very few games in the Championship.

Another returning loanee. Their will be a whole XI of them coming back in the summer.
Seems like we are gunning after this Bourgiorno guy from Torino. Seems like an interesting profile, don't know if he is actually that good or not lol
Is he that good that we should splash out 25-30 million euros + Colombo when Tomori, Kalulu, and Thiaw are a few weeks away to be back in the squad? My opinion: No. Save the budget for the summer and the CF position.
I am not sure budgets can roll over like that. The annual profit/loss calculation is done on an annual basis, and does not factor in prior year's performances. Some of this money could actually be a "use it or lose it" situation
I like buongiorno very much, excellent hard defender, and a leader. + italian, I always like more italians in the team.
But its a bit strange to splash that much money on a central defender. As atm we have Kjaer, Gabbia, Simic and Theo. And Tomori, Thiaw and Kalulu will be back in a month.
My thought too. I wouldn't mind having another strong Italian defender (which is Milan tradition), but having a long list of decent players already on the roster makes me wonder if we are preparing for a different coach that plays 3 at the back.

... and I really don't like Conte.
Milan to pay 30 milions for a CB in January? From where?
