After our interest in Jonathan David cooled down he started scoring again. 9 goals in his last 10 matches.

Gazzetta: If an offer similar to the one from Newcastle for Sandro Tonali last summer arrives for any one of Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez or Rafael Leao, Milan will consider it seriously.

If we have to sell one for big money, Mike Maignan is my choice. Theo (99%) Leao (90%) Mike (60%) Percentages are random just to make a point. All three are important players, but Theo is a true Milanista, Leao is a super talent, and Mike is starting to show signs that make me feel uneasy (in various ways). Tonali was a 100% for me.

Was Tonali 65 or 80? 80 makes almost every player sellable, 100 takes away the "almost". Even in these expensive market times we can't turn down 100. The pessimist side says that I am not sure we will spend the money well, but still we can't turn it down.
Some reports claim Leao has 175 release clause, I am willing to bet small money (only small ) that that amount will somehow not exist in the contract or is for summer 2026 only or some silly thing like that.

To be fair, I think we spent last summer's budget at least reasonably well. Of all the players we signed last summer, only Chuk has been a major disappointment, and he could still turn it around with more time in Serie A. I would say the hit rate is higher than Maldini's last couple of years tbh.

RLC is worth around 30m now, apparently Man Utd want to offer 60m for Reijnders, Pulisic can probably fetch a good 35-40 now, whereas we're probably a bit down on Chuk and Okarfor is probably worth about the same, however I'm not really calling Okafor a top nor flop because for that money he's still a decent sub. Musah is probably up in value as well and I actually like him, he needs some time he's super young. If anything north of 50m comes in for Maignan I'd sell. As I said, we can buy a reliable keeper for 30m easily and pocket 20-30m from his sale. He's been shaky lately and to be honest he looks like he put on a few kg. I'd sell Bennacer if the right offer comes, as well as Maignan. IF we got close to Leao's release clause (somewhere around 130-150m) I'd also consider. While he is a super talent, I worry his work ethic will get in the way of him actually becoming the top player he can become. For me, Theo is the only one who is unsellable. I wouldn't take any offer for him.

But 50 for Maignan is WAY to little, yes he has been shaky this year, but we all know his qualitym and rumours says 80 million, not 50. 80 + is OK in this inflated market, 50 is too little, when you know PL clubs pay thos kid of amount for mediocre players.. Agree with Bennacer too. I love the guy, but he is so injury prone and has never been up to that 2021 level. Good player, but we really cant say no to a 50 million bid for him. About Leao, no way we will hesitate idf someone comes with a 100 million bid, yes the release clause is 175 mill, but no way we are standing form on that. Sell: Maignan: 80 million. Leao: 100 million. Bennacer 40 million= 220 million + salary saved on Kjær and Giroud who 99% is finished after the season. We could completely revamp the squad with QUALITY players, and just not talents. I have said it before, but change formation to 3-5-2. Buy Frimpong, Koopmeiners, Sesko, and Zirkzee + a solid back up for Theo, and a solid GK. Then we are good to go .
