We've been interested in this guy for almost 2 years. Links about him first emerged in 2022 when we played Salzburg in the CL. But like with every player Milan is linked to....we are interested, we look for a year, we scout for another, we think for a few months, we finally agree terms with the player, then we haggle with his club......and bam, someone else steps in, pays what's necessary and buys the player in 1 week.
I don't have a reason to believe this guy will be any different if links to other clubs are also emerging. Especially someone like Newcastle that can just go and pay what they are asking and close the deal in 2 days.

He looks like an aggressive powerfull but kinda dumb defender. Not my favorite type, I prefer the smart type of defenders, like Maldini/Nesta type of players.
Only a few people know about his Lazio saga, he failed medicals there  , I vaguely remember I think in 2019. Sissokho and broken teeth...

True... And quite depressing at the same time.
We are now linked to Fullkrug now in addition to Morata. Boy, to get rid of old man Giroud and replace him with Fullkrug + Morata is the type of youth revolution we all dreamed of, ain't it lol. Zirkzee was right there for the taking, and this is what we are settling with. Embarrassing stuff really
Never a fan of Morata, if he joins us I will respect a player who wears the shirt of course, but this is not how Milan should move forward. If a stadium is on the horizon at least start building for the future somehow.
Fullkrug has good stats and somewhat good characteristics but Dortmund, Bremen or German NT are nothing like Milan. I hope Fonseca is at least having a say because management and coaches should be on the same page on how players are going to be used.
