Pavlovic is excactly that kind of defender we need. A bad boy who defends with every body part and with extreme aerial ability. I wonder if Fonseca will try with 3-4-3 with Thiaw- Tomori- Pavlovic, or a regular 4-3-3 with Pavlovic- Tomori. I wonder if Fonseca actually will focus on Thiaw. He has a lot higher ceiling. The problem is the lack of speed with a Thiaw- Pavlovic partnership.

If we finish the mercato with Morata, Fofana, Pavlovic and Fullkrug we should be pretty happy.

 me too. Fofana is the most important, IMO, it seems the commond ground is somewhere around 18m.

What about LB backup? I guess Kalulu will be RB alternative to Calabria unless Thiaw leaves. In which case we will need another CD or RB.

I would be incredibly happy if we signed Samardzic and Fofana for the midfield. For LB I’m good with Jimenez being deputy to Theo. At least some youth will get minutes which I honestly think Simic would get if he ended up staying. RB needs to be addressed next summer as well. Calabria does nothing in attack

And what would you suggest they did? Simic had one year left on his contract which rules out a loan, asked for first team salary, was not interested in playing in Serie C for Milan Futuro. He is/was not good enough for our first team yet, so what to do?

Kalulu earned €500k before he signed his current contract.

That is twice as much as the Norwegian prime minister. He's 19 and hasn't done anything yet. Although the main reason for not signing a new contract is that he wants to play at a higher level than Serie C. I believe he wouldn't do that at Milan.

True. I think the main issue is his salary. I don't think we are expecting any transfer fee realistically. 

At least that would get one year's salary covered (though we may still have to pay partial.)
