Only signed cheap Giroud and Kjaer replacements 
No real sales 
No renewals

Hey man the first couple of seasons, Kjaer was great. In fact if he were healthy he would play great in this defense. If Pavlovic is a cheap Kjaer, I’d be thrilled.

Scamacca got injured 3 or 4 days ago, and Atalanta had already signed a replacement, Retegui, today from Genoa for €22m plus €3m add-ons. Just 3 days. No drama, no noise. Straight up business.

They had also signed Marc Pubill for €20m from Almeria.

We struggle to sign players we been onto and negotiating for months, imagine us trying to sign a replacement for a key player that was not planned or budgeted for ?.

Difference is that without a Scamacca replacement, they have no chance for top six. They can’t entirely rely on CDK. They had to buy and buy fast.

We are almost guaranteed top four with this line up. Better players give us a chance of Scudetto and Cl progression. The lack of transfers and extreme penny pinching is more revealing of aspiration…if you take the media reports as true.

yeah. I think he might be great.

I will be of a differing opinion that we should not sign another striker and just start playing Camarda regularly. If we play him and Liberali regularly we might end up with two of the worlds best in their positions further up the line. Sure, this seasons results will suffer a bit, but long term it might be the jackpot. Camarda is now the same age as Lamine Yamal last year when Barcelona played him a lot. Same there, they lost out in the short term, but will reap the benefits in the long term.

Signing Samardzic and Ambraham would just be the opposite of the above and possibly stop the growth of Camarda and Liberali who are the biggest talents we had since Cristante. (which we blew when signing a broken Essien)
