Anyway, about Salaemakers - problem is he's just mehh player. I mean, he does these little cute things here and there, now and then. Maybe even appear to be good in a game. But he's hardly effective in attacking. Or even defending when playing at RB or RWB. And like you said, everything can change anytime and he's back to that frustrating player we all know.

He's just a random player, someone to fill out the positions. He's not that player you look at in your attack line and go, "oh yeah, we have Salaemakers there, we gonna kill them or I'm expecting something exciting on that flank"

So why keep him? Probably for depth, nothing more than that. There's a reason Bologna aren't interested in buying him, or even making any effort to renew his loan.

I say cash in on him (or swap) if there's any opportunity.

That extra 6-7M from Brescianni must be enough to finance the move. Saelemaekers is def a good player with good work rate but cant see anyone preferring him over Chiesa

I wouldnt mind him, he would be surplus and he would not be always fit, but when available he is class. Still had good stats. He could be an extra weapon in a scudetto push. He is much better than chuck or saelemaekers.

I’d prefer him over Tammy. He could play behind Morata and put Pulisic back at RW. If we could swap saelemakers for Chiesa, and sign Fofana and Dybala, we would be pretty dangerous. That’s a PlayStation dream though.
