Given the fact that he wants 9 milions a year, he will walk, this summer or the next one on free.

Origi is nowhere to be seen as Gazzetta dello Sport writes, and his last Rossoneri-related appearance came in July.
Currently, the striker earns €300,000 per month as part of his €4 million a year contract which runs until June 2026. A deal that will not be replicated elsewhere. An exit in January is hoped for, but the striker will have to accept a lesser deal. At 29-years-old Gazzetta questions whether he will move for the sake of his career. Never. Going. To. Leave.

I'm not sure why you keep bringing up his name. He will never play for Milan again. We should consider the money lost, everything else will be a bonus. It's for the best that he does not hang around the team or Futuro. Move on.

I doubt he's collecting a full paycheck at this point. He can't possibly, right? I get player rights and protection and contracts, etc. But if someone simply doesn't show up to work and refuses to, they won't be paid. I don't see why football players should be any different.

We stuck Gold with Theo, it would be uphill task to find a Theo replacement with our usual 20M limit. We had Milos Kerkez as his natural replacement but that ship sailed due to Pioli... Udogie? Hope Bartesaghi turns good? I would rather stick with Theo, I would tolerate high wages, than playing some Emerson like dude on Left. Valeri or Parisi as his deputy
Forza Diavolo ale!!!

Bartesaghi seems more of a LCB tbh. But either way, yes, it's not going to be easy replacing Theo (if he leaves). People keep getting annoyed at Theo's defensive shortcomings, but fact of the matter is, he was never great in his defending. He is a huge threat going forward though. So if we want to use his greatest qualities, we need to be prepared to accept his shortcomings. And then, have a contingency plan for it. Play with 3 CBs for example. We have to put our best players in the best position to perform at their best.

I have no idea. He's probably been told to stay away as it is the best for our club too. It was a bad bet that failed even more miserably.

He just terminated his contract. He's free. He's experienced, technical, knows the league well. A bit rusty now, yeah, but that's not an issue as he can get back to fitness.
Ladies and Gentlemen - Paul Pogba! Any takers?? |
