We should have always inserted a future sell on clause. That was a very bad sell this way. I can understand we sold him as he wanted playing time and he was stuck behind theo. But then to sell him for almost nothing with no sell on clause is ridiculous

Good for him, though. He'd be rotting in Futuro while "experts" would deciding if he's "ready" for 13 minutes of first team football every tenth game. Hell is reward for those guys.

Idk what's even the use of Futuro. The proper use of such team is to give early experience of professional football to Primavera players and decide whether a certain player is good or not, but in current form idk where Futuro is even heading.

Come on man! That just shows lack of patience tbh. The Futuro project isn't even 6 months old. Most of those players are getting their first ever experience at the professional level. And most of them are currently inconsostent at that (Serie C) level as well, which is very understandable. Not sure what you are expecting at this point...

What you described above....."The proper use of such team is to give early experience of professional football to Primavera players and decide whether a certain player is good or not"....is EXACTLY what's happening at Milan Futuro. So what's the problem, really? 
It's obviously not only limited to "deciding whether they are good enough for Milan or not"....it's also about developing those players. Whereas some may not be "good enough/ready enough" now...but might be in a year. But thats besides the point.

So do you expect this decision of "whether they are good enough or not" to be made in November of the first season EVER for this project? 

People have praised Juventus's use of their U23 team....but forget that Juventus has been at it for multiple years now and many of the players we only NOW see with their first team. They all played predominantly in their U23 for a couple years and even spent some time being loaned out to other lower league clubs. 

I get criticizing the management on handling matter in the Sr squad. But I totally disagree with doing that on the Futuro project. Let's at least wait until the start of next season. Let's see what 1 full year did for some of these players and what decisions the management makes with them.

Futuro project is very important for our future! Its only been half a season, a difficult start was expected.
Project needs a few years to really benefit from it. Patience is the key here

It's all about how much time Futuro players will get in Serie A. Playing only in Serie C is not going to benefit them. We will see how our board imagined all that to work, but expecting that someone is going to play 1-2 years only in Serie C and than magically step up and start havoc in Serie A is beyond ridiculous. I hope that's not our "plan". I don't know if that happened even once during 130 years long history of Italian football. Maybe in "early years", when gap wasn't so profound.

It is only useful if we are serious about developing youth. Obviously primavera alone is not the way, there is pretty much zero evidence that primavera benefits the senior team.

I was bit too reactionary about Futuro, when team is not doing well often everyone gets scrutinized
