Summer mercato 2024
Please stop with Maldini. He will never be back. Not with this owners.
I wouldn't mind him back, but only if he learned from previous mistakes and have no intention of repeating them.
But yeah, it's hard to see him back with this ownership.
Avaiting for arrival of exorcist into our boardroom.
Allegedly(Alessandro Schiavone), Newcastle is interested in RLC and Thiaw.

He mentioned that too, not sure who that journalist is or how credible he is, but he mentioned swap is possible only if Newcastle is willing to accept 40M in 2-3 installments + one of the RLC/Thiaw.

"The Tonali return is possible but only if Toon accept €40m paid in 2-3 installments and one of the two in the deal. As I said, Sandro wants to head back to the club he never wanted to leave in first place at the end of season"

Broke Gerry got a loan with interest (700m) to pay back in 6 months. Zero chance of any spend let alone double the 20m cap.

I am surprised that the salary issue didn't come up. Isn't Tonali earning like 3 or 4 times higher after his transfer? I know that he took 2 pay cuts before, but now it is different. I can hardly believe that he would accept a 50% pay cut, let alone him being at his professional peak.

That's why I don't think it will happen. Why would Tonali want to save money for a management he doesn't appreciate or even respect? People don't realize or don't want to accept that Maldini's name alone is worth a lot of money. No, I am not saying that he is flawless, but getting rid of Maldini in that manner had to be one of the most unthinkable managerial moves that football world can ever witness, and we are paying dear price for that.

Very true. Sad but true. We lost so much when they sacked Maldini!
