I still like this formation with 3 defenders. Which IMO is best for this team.
We haven’t got most ball possession but we are the most dangerous team

We had the biggest chance at the end of the first half and played decent football at the beginning of the second half with some half chances. Atalanta created nothing until then… so yeah most dangerous in a game without much danger

Of course Ederson would choose the game against Inter Merda to receive 2 yellow cards in 10 seconds, and played like a godsend against us.

Fonana has to be the main culprit for our loss. Atalanta scored our superb beginning of the second half, thanks to Fofana's lazy ass. He has such low football IQ too. All the poor decisions he made were astounding. When we played well, he gifted them a goal; when we tried to level, he killed momentum again and again. He just ruined everyone else's game, though nobody was having a superb game today. Pulisic may be the second worst player on pitch today.

And did you see Gasperini kicking away the ball when Chukwueze went for it? Such an asshole. I am surprised that the referee didn't see that.

Also, what the hell was that Leao's own-half offside about? Italian referees just sank to a new low.

Deserved victory, but we should continue with this formation. It takes time to make it gel, but no doubt that it fits us a lot better than 4-2-3-1.

On the match: Very poor from the attacking trio Puli invicible. Jovic with little danger, Leao had "that" kind of day where he looks lile a Serie C player. Fofana had som really good runs in the second half, just excactly want i want from the team, ball carrying in a high tempo to break up the lines. We should do this a lot more. Fofana and Reijnders are great ball carriers, use it more!

Pavlovic was MOM in my opinion. That tackle on Retegui for a tap in was tremendous. Maignan also was solid, great save on Lookman.


Coppa is all that is left. So freaking important..

The problem is that if we had Ederson and they had Fofana, it would still be their player that looked the best. We can't do anything right.

No offense, but a lot of players are not very intelligent, which is why management and coaching staff are important to help them get the best out of them. You can see that some of our players looked lost. Without a stable and supportive management, teams are doomed to failure, unless you have extremely strong leaders on the team (either head coach or players--we don't have any). 

Truly can't wait for this season to be over. I didn't feel this way in our banter era--always looked forward to every game.
