Because we're not getting our hands on any CL money in the future...

I can't see us turning down €70m. For any one of our players.

The players mentioned are good or at least promising and potentially good, but I doubt they have the same number of goals and assists in them as Reijnders have.

to pay wages lol

but rather than selling reijnder i prefer we sell theo and leao, because theo contract is up in 2 years time, and leao might generate more fund than reijnders

Reijnders for 70 milions? Is this a bad joke?

Ya I understand that’s why we are looking for funds but sell Theo and some fringe players like RLC and Musah to bring in money. Keep our better players.

We confirm that we are a laughing stock at selling. City went straight up to 75 million and we accepted. A proper negotiator would have sold Reijnders for no less than 100 million. Those PL clubs is bathing in money, at least burn them as much as possible!

This hurts. It hurts a lot.. Yes he was a good player, but even more a fantastic charsimatic person that everyone likes. Will miss him.

But no one is bigger han the club, if the money in invested wisely under Tares reign, we could be even better.

Looks like Reijnders and Theo are the ones going. Anything less than 100 for the 2 is pathetic, I would say 120 but then instead of laughing at management everybody will laugh at me Tongue Big Grin

100m for both is bad business! How can they accept a bid for Reijnders so fast? If you sell so fast you just know your asking price was too low, simple as that.

That's the thing....I don't think this has been a "fast" negotiation. This is something that's been brewing the last month or so for sure.

Many reports out there say 75m. Not sure if that includes bonuses or what not.

My personal stance is clear. Reijnders should not be sold. We are going to really struggle to replace him and his goals.

As for Theo...I'm good if he goes. Hopefully we squeeze out as much as possible, but at this point, his terrible form and regression over the past 18 months or so, coupled with the fact he's entering in his last contract year...I don't see us getting anything above 30.

I think 120 should be realistic. Squeeze City for 90ish and get 30 for Theo.

None of this is good btw.
1) We are selling our best player and we won't be able to replace him
2) We'll need 2 LBs
That 120m won't go a long way.

We need to sell others that have been atrocious or simoly not in the plans any longer. Among others like Pobega and Adli, start with Tomori, Thiaw, RLC, Musah, Chuk, Okafor.
