I would take Modric in a heartbeat. I don't care how old he is. The man can run the midfield in a wheelchair. I still hope we also go for Verratti.

Wouldnt mind Modric at all. He is still a good player, should be on reasonable wages though.
But why didnt we just go for Kevin De Bruyne, he’s ‘only’ 33 and has still a lot of years in him. He will be one of the best mids in the league. I hope Theo is gone, it should be over for him here. He has mentally checked out. Hope he accepts al Hilal and we can get at least 30m.

Zoe and Theo. Jet set people set to chill in Saudi... They should close their eyes for a few years, and think about the salary. A bit sad that a player in his best years goes there, but of course, when you get almost 5 times the salary you should consider.

According to what is being reported by Fabrizio Romano on X, Al-Hilal have had a bid accepted by Milan for the left-back. It would be a €30m initial fee with €5m in potential bonuses, and it would be almost a pure capital gain for the Rossoneri.

Romano: Chelsea approach Milan to sign Mike Maignan as new goalkeeper. Maignan has still not signed new contract at the club and Chelsea are now aware of the situation. He’s always been high on Chelsea list with clubs in talks, decision up to Milan.

With Allegri as coach now, he’ll have 15-18 clean sheets. If Mike is sold, do we target a Donnarumma return for free when his contract runs out? Would be kind of funny to get him back in the same circumstance that he left us. He’s now a Champions League winner too and we’d be able to give him a higher salary considering there’s no transfer fee.

Tare will target Andrea Cambiaso of Juve if Theo is sold.
He’s pretty solid but nothing spectacular. Would prefer a more dynamic LB to replace Theo. I guess Cambiaso can play on the right as well though
