Because there is a chance he will leave in July when he realizes the budget is actually less than zero.
Very close to agreement with both player and club for Ricci, but then we turned attention elsewhere. We got scared when we got close to actually spending money.

Having to bang the begging bowl already?

Both of them signed their contracts just a couple weeks ago. Did they not ask about those details at that time?  Icon_lol2

I think this is probably a made up story by Calciomercato. As usual
Allegri prepared to do anything to re-unite with Kean. Looks like Allegri is quitting to join Pioli’s staff lol
Tottenham prepare 25 million euro bid for Giovanni Leoni. Looks like we miss out on another young Italian defender with huge upside. Isn’t that Gerry’s whole thing. But young players with a high ceiling and sell for profit! What are we doing?

We have little money, at least 5-6 positions to fix this summer and Parma are asking €30m for a relatively unproven 18 year old. I'm not sure we're in a position to make gambles like that.
Ardon Jashari from Club Brugge too expensive. They request €40m. We probably wanted to pay €40.

If we just make the deal with Napoli for Musah, we would have over 100 million in budget available. I read we have 80 with the Reijnders sale. 25 million for Guerra, Modric is free, Xhaka for 15, Chiesa for 15, offer Parma 20 plus add ons. That’s 75 million. If we sell Musah we can address our full back situation as well. I think having Gimenez, Jovic and Colombo will be fine for Serie A this year so we can worry about that if we make CL in 2026
CB position already needs an upgrade.
RB is a problem.
LB was getting there and now will be a problem also.
CM is now a gaping hole with close to no quality.
Wings are fine I guess.
CF, depends. But a a back-up at the very least.

That's a lot to fix.
Gazzetta: Milan offer 13m plus Lorenzo Colombo to Parma for Giovanni Leoni.
