From the news: GK: Mike is still the 1st, Allegri likes him (who doesn't). He occasionally makes mistakes, but he makes more crucial saves, his feet are reliable. RB: Calabria gone, Walker's option not exercised, and Florenzi sees out of his contract. There are still: Royal, Jimenez, Terrraciano; none reliable. And Jimenez is seen as an attacker by Allegri (I agree) 02 plans: - Buy someone like Guela Doue to start, Royal backup. Terraciano loan out or utility for the defensive department. - Saelemaekers as new RWB (Allegri), we switch to 3 CBs formation, Doue still be signed for RWB/RCB. LB: The old problem is we have tons of makeshift LBs who are basically RB, and Theo. Now Theo gone and there is no LB. Bartesaghi could be promoted to LCB/LWB, but a profesional is needed. Zinchenko is not a bad choice, not strong physically but good football IQ and hard working, his problem is the mind filled with the war in his country. If he comes, moving to 3 CBs 2 WBs formation becomes more suitable to use his playmaking ability. CB: Tomori, Pavlovic, Thiaw, and Gabbia still here. Do we need Leoni and what can the young Italian give? Deeplying DM: Modric and Bennacer. Mezzala: Fofana and another addition (Xakha), as Cheek, Bondo, (and Musah / Pobega, if stays) are just subs. Loftus is a journeyman player that no club really want and contributed little. with a very vivid imagination you can expect him to contribute nearly as much as Reijnders. |
