Seen Comuzzo a few times, and I was never impressed. He also lost his starting spot in the end of the season. But he’ still young and if Allegri and Tare rate him I’m sure they can make him better. It would be nice to have a young italian in the backline.

But I hope it will be Leoni, spotted him in a game vs Juventus (or Napoli, dont know for sure anymore) and he was really good! 18yo. Excellent in positioning and defending by being smart, being in the right place all the time. On top of that he is 193cm , so a big boy , very strong.

After that game I watched more Parma games just to see him. And he was always like that! Very smart defender. Total opposite of Pavlovic. Its the type of defender I like!
He got injured at the end of the season though. Played only 17 serie A games…

But the talent is there… and the price also Big Grin 40m for such a young player is a lot!! But I hope we do it
Looking at City now. Reijnders on in second half, two goals in 40 minutes. It hurts a bit... But will get over itSmile. Wish him all the best.
Leoni is a talent for sure. I think he'll surpass Bastoni as new era best Italian defender. He's a beast and already has impressive defending IQ for his young age. Scored a couple beautiful headed goals too, at 18? Yea 40m sure but he's almost a guarantee. He could start after a few months of training undisputed at our club right now.

One of his key matches this season was how badly he bullied Vlahovic when they faced Juve and his nutmeg on Cutrone Big Grin

FYI, Liverpool had strong links with him as they wanted to groom him into replacing VVD.

No matter if we sign him or not now, he won't be here in his peak years. If he comes and does well, he'll be gone whenever we can secure a small capital gain.

Probably true, but while he is here he will be better than Thiaw so for replacement sake he's a good signing.

There were a few rumors circulating that Maignan is not guaranteed to stay as Chelsea are still monitoring the situation & there have been disputes on a renewal, and so born there is a crazy idea that we could try to bring back Dollarumma. Imagine that lol. Likely Donnarumma will leave as they signed Chevalier
Thiaw's case is a success for us, in term of finance, but in term of football, it is late.
Maybe Bartesaghi will be tested at CB against Chelse, then we'll see.
I'm not sure about paying 40m for Leoni, a player that I'm not sure if he is better than Thiaw who came for 5-7m.
Anyway, we have a good testing match against Leeds. With Sala added to the pool, our midfielder department are diverse and capable.

Di Marzio: Agreement with Aberdeen for the permanent transfer of Marko Lazetic: transfer for free with 50% of the future resale.

5m wasted, another Moncada masterclass.
We've had a bloated squad for a long time. A ton of useless players that we gathered through the years, but offered nothing of substance. Every summer we've talked about getting rid of these players and we've never been able to....resorting to loans in the last few days of the market, fully knowing that the players are 90% likely to come back a year later and still be a burden.

Well......it looks like this was the summer. The summer od the purge. I can't believe we've actually sold so many players. And even those that went on loans, like Pobega, have a purchase obligation attached to the deal. Rumors are that Terracciano's loan to Cremonese will also have an obligation, if they stay in Serie A.

Still some work left to do. Mainly on Bennacer and Adli. I know Okafor, Chuk and Musah are also on a sale list for us fans....but it seems the management and Allegri might feel otherwise and we may keep them in the end. Not too concerned about those 3 to be honest. They are bench players, and we do actually need players on the bench.
Official Milan XI (3-5-1-1) against Chelsea: Maignan; Terracciano, Tomori, Coubis; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Ricci, Modric, Bartesaghi; Loftus-Cheek; Leao.

Bartesaghi as LWB again. Estupinan has just played yesterday so this is the only option, but when the Peruvian is 100% fit, our homegrown should play LCB to add the versatility, especially if 3 CBs is used more often.
Not sure about spending for a CB.

The mid trio look serious.
Romano: Milan have made contact for Koni De Winter with both player and Genoa. Genoa want €25m package, Milan consider opening bid around €20m plus add-ons. De Winter, keen on move.
