[Longo] New contacts between Milan and Divock Origi for the termination of the contract expiring in July 2026.

Almost reliable rumours that both Bondo and Musah are leaving. Last season was a big failure but that's more than half of the squad gone, Aficio is keeping track for us (thanks). I hope this is the last year zero, even if coming season is poor there can't be another one, at this point I would even keep any deadwood lol. The year zero concept is a failure too.
F. Terraciano on loan to Cremonese, Bondo in the queue
An offer around 10m + bonus for Athekame, a very rough talent who loves sliding tackles, we should book some visits from Nesta Lazetic silently go to Aberdeen for 0 plus 20% sell-on Morata's path to Como is clear after Milan paid the fee, some money coming (5m+) While his staff are busy, Tare doesn't slack off with Hojlund and Musah Someone should take care of Emanuele Sala's contract which will be exprired next year Without both Musah & Bondo, we need a player like Sala for a midfielder group of 6, his chance seems higher than Eletu & Vos The attacker deparment are becoming crowded: Leao, Pulisic, and Gimenez to start; Hojlund*, Chukwueze, Jimenez, Saelemaekers, and Okafor are promising backup. So the chance for Traore is almost zero, especially when he can't play wingbacks (no history). Rossoneri: Ricci, Modric, P. Terraciano, Estupiñán, Jashari, De Winter In descending order Likely to come: Athekame, Hojlund Likely to go: Musah, Bondo, Bennacer, Adli, Okafor Gone: F. Terraciano, Lazetic, Thiaw, Liberali, Colombo, Royal, Vasquez, Pobega, Sportiello, Theo, Reijnders, Kalulu, Pellegrino, Jovic, Abraham, Walker, Felix, Sottil, Florenzi, Morata Studying abroad: Carmada, Zeroli, Comotto Code: --------------------------------------------Mike--------------------------------------------(08-11-2025, 08:50 PM)Arildonardo Wrote: They just bought a goalkeeper for €55m, would they sign MM as backup? Would MM accept that role? I don't think MM will accept a backup; nor do I think he will be backup if he does return to PSG. They have tons of money, so having some expensive backup isn't completely unthinkable. I knew that the contract renewal issue would come up, but I didn't realize that it did some quickly (i.e. before the season starts, AND, after such a successful season). I applaud PSG for being proactive and preemptive, and aggressive. Some says that it was Enrique's doing--and I can see that. LOL. The $nake deserves it. To be clear, I don't necessary want $nake back. After all that he did to us, the only way that I will accept him would be that he accepts a low salary (no more than 4M) and on a long contract (8 years). No way in hell though will that happen. Imagine even filthy rich club like PSG gets fed up with him, so one may wonder how much he is already asking--I am thinking at least 10M, probably he is thinking that he can ask for that coming off a great season. Unfortunately, I have my reservations with MM as well. I think he is a professional, but I think he will not renew and will be leaving us too. I am hoping that Torriani would be ready in one year and take over from MM then. This untimely rumor is annoying to me, because I worry that if it is in fact true, then MM actually may leave now (no, we are not getting $$ back regardless), and we would be in trouble.
Moretto said Milan will not seek for another CB.
Still 20 days to confirm, but it is reasonable. For 2 CBs formation, we have enough. For 3 CBs formation, since it basically sacrifices 1 midfielder for 1 defender, the creativity is lost and the battle in the middle lacks a warrior. So: - One/two of the CBs must have the ability to pass the ball: like Bonucci - One/two of the CBs must have some speed & tactical senses to help the midfielders occasionally (some sidebacks converted to CB in their prime) - If all 3 CBs lack the passing and the speed, like Inter, the DM must be creative, like Hakan We cannot afford a good enough ball-playing CB, and the only DM option to compensate the 3 static CBs is Modric, so I think we could play 3-5-3 or alike, but for a short period. And since the name Hakan appears, he knows his value for Inter, and request a big pay rise to 7.5M for 3 years or a transfer, likely to Galatasaray.
Bondo on dry loan to Cremonese confirmed.
Magni will also study outside Milan, Cesena is the destination. Traore in the queue. Tare values Musah at 40m total He will stay a week in England for Hojlund. Rossoneri: Ricci, Modric, P. Terraciano, Estupiñán, Jashari, De Winter In descending order Likely to come: Athekame, Hojlund Likely to go: Magni, Musah, Bennacer, Adli, Okafor Gone: F. Official: Morata to Como on loan with conditional obligation to buy.
Does anyone know the conditions? Do we risk having him back next year?

I feel like we've built a "functioning team". But nothing screams "Scudetto contenders". There are still a lot of queation marks.
1) defensive line Last year was a disaster. I don't attribute it all to the defenders tbh. A lot of it was down to the sporadic movements of the midfield and the very little protection they provided to the back line. Still, we are yet to (officially) sign a RB. Athekame is the name that's supposedly all wrapped up...but the fact is that none of us know anything about him and he seems to be a project player at the moment. I don't expect him to come in and own the right side. So that leaves the likes of Jimenez and Saelemaekers, who we know are not natural fullbacks. Could use Tomori as well, OR some form of a hybrid 3/4 backline. But my point stands. We are left with questions and it's mid-August. De Winter seems like a good buy. But we didn't buy ourselves "a rock" at the back. A true quality player and a leader. Gabbia is at the moment our best CB, and that says a lot. Pavlovic is just a kamikaze player at this point, until he proves me wrong. Then there is the LB situation. Estupinan is supposed to be good...but do we even have a backup for him? Bartesaghi is not ready imo, and also, he is not a true LB. More of a LCB. I guess the biggest signing for the defenisve line is Allegri himself. Hopefully he will make us compact enough to where the lack of individual quality will be masked. 2) Goal Scorer(s) We all know we need a CF. Gimenez will get a full season and hopefully he justifies his price tag. But we need another CF (at least). Leao is not it. Although I hope he can score more this season. |
