There are plenty reasons to call "us" clowns these days. Not signing an injured player is not one of them.

No but handling that situation so publicly when we had concerns was very clownish. This is a message to all players to not come here.

If you ask me the most surprising (surprising but not clownish imo) part is a team letting a player go on a 'not sure' medical when they are playing. Leverkusen had a game and lost while he was doing a medical.

Boniface’s recent comments make it easier to accept that we didn’t sign him—no regrets there.

Harder may not be a prolific goal scorer, but he offers far more to the team than Giménez in terms of overall contribution.

Sesko was invisible again in his second match. Maybe Manchester United will start rethinking their stance on Højlund—and who knows, they might even let us borrow Sesko instead.

Yeah, clowns are everywhere, so football is interesting and funny.

They know about his injuries and were probably eager to let him go while they could get some money for him. Didn't work for them though.

The "shoot from anywhere and everywhere"-part he can learn, at 20 we shouldn't expect a fully developed player. There was a time when CR7 used to always do tricks and dribble, but then he learnt that there's no point unless it is effective and he turned out to be one of the most effective players of all time.

Not comparing players or talent, just stating examples.
