Allegri doesn’t like his attitude plus he shows up to training late quite often.
Spurs open talks with City for Akanji. I guess we can cross his name off the list now

They have more money and CL, so yes that would be tough competition.
Romano: Trabzonspor have made a proposal for Ismael Bennacer. No agreement with Milan midfielder yet as he wants to consider his options.

But would City accept a deal from a direct rival?
Spurs have just beaten City 2:0
Maybe City don't like dealing with the London club for a while

I believe that Real could have got him back this past summer for 9M. That has passed. They could still have him back for 12M next summer. Are you saying that we have full control now of Alex Jimenez, AND, more importantly, if we sell now, Real's buyback option would be invalidated?

I would think that it should be more complicated than that--Real for sure should have a say in this?? Also, even if it is all legally checked out and cleared, this is morally quite unethical too. I can imagine how pissed Real would be (unless there is some under-the-counter deal with Real). We would be burning another bridge for some petty profit.

Those buy back clauses are active only for a short period of time between seasons, when clubs need to decide if they're going to activate it or not. If they don't activate it, they lose "rights" until next "window of opportunity". If there is one. So, until next season we are free to do with him whatever we want, and Real have no moral right to be "butthurt" because they knew the rules, they had their chance and didn't took it.

According to the article above, Real Madrid had the opportunity to activate a buy-back clause for Alex but chose not to—effectively allowing us to sell him.

The deal with Bournemouth isn’t permanent yet; it becomes permanent after he plays 15 matches. Naturally, the final match of the season takes place before the summer transfer window officially opens, so the activation date will fall somewhere between the 9m and 12m mark of the agreement.

What a headache! Big Grin
