And Leao isn't a striker. We're using our potentially best player out of position to make sure he can't perform at his highest level. Our formation isn't well suited to our current squad, especially when it comes to the attacking part.

Normally, he is useful to divert the defenders, but in a match when our midfielders are weakened and his partners are not healthy, he can't do much.
In the 2 recent matches, I don't think Dovbyk or even Vlahovic can do better. At least Gimenez joined the defense and can do something there.

I read about this and the article said: "...the Rossoneri have previously shown a willingness to sign players from the Premier League who are in a bit of a dip..."

Well, with this guy it's not a dip. He just isn't very good. He had one ok season in PL with Bournemouth, but that's it. And Tottenham paid £55m + £10m bonuses for him. Crazy.

Anyway, everybody knows we're in desperate need of a striker so I guess we'll see many rumours during the next months...

We should try for Lewandowski in januari. One of the all time greats. He’s not a starter at barca anymore but he still has very good numbers, this season and last season.
He could have a modric like impact. Could score 20-25 goals a season, no doubt about that.

He is on very high wages though, so it wont be easy.

Son isn't a pure CF though. Lewandowski would be great for 1.5-year contract (with Camarda back in the team next season), but I am not sure that we can get him the way we get Modric--that's to assume that we will get him at all. Barcelona will charge us a transfer fee and the player himself will ask for a hefty wage. Also, he went to Barcelona for UCL (and Balon d'Or), so I really don't think he is coming to us this season.
