We collected 11 points from Roma, Cremonese, Pisa, Napoli, Parma and Inter. All considered, I guess I will take it.

I wish I could have xu. I still feel like this team has to stop always resetting the game by passing alll the way back to the last defender. We need to take some more shots on goal outside the box ( just to test the defense even )
I will let xu make next games prediction.

Have you not seen my pathetic record of predictions? ![]() Back to the game, I thought that Fofana was completely useless, but then I was reminded that his hustle led to our goal. I wonder if that's the reason that Allegri continued to rely on him so much. But this man ought to stop trying to shoot. I mean, even his only goal against Udinese seemed like a muffed shot. Also, I hope that I am not too harsh on Nkunku, but it looks to me that Leao with one leg is better than him. That's not so much of a compliment, because Leao is just not so intelligent and so poor with his decision-making. On the other hand, Rabiot, Pulisic and Modric know the best decision sometimes is the simplest one. We are so blessed to have them on the team.

Fantastic win! Damn we know how to suffer. I think we defended way to deep the last 20 minutes. Inter are so dangerous when Dimarco can dart cross after cross, luckily the positional sense of the back three, was 10/10 tonight.
Lucky but still a magical win. My rating 1-10: - Maignan: 9. Very rare to give as high as a 9, but deserved it tonight. What a game. Maybe his best in a Milan shirt. Certaintly top three. - Tomori: 7. Really solid. Hard pressure especially in the second half, but he stood hos ground. A reborn player. - Gabbia: 7. Lost Thuram, and had some troubles in the first half, was commanding i in the second half. - Pavlovic: I see ratings from 5, to 6 out there. Il give him a 6,5. Yes clumsy challenge for the pen, but otherwise rock solid. - Saelemaekers: 7,5. I just love this player. Aassist for the goal, and works like a mad dog. He is becoming a icon for this club. - Modric: 7. We know Inter press really high. Then Modric is the best player in the world to get the ball too. Aging like fine wine. - Fofana. 6,5. Everyone bashes him, i followed him closely. He was fantastic in the pressing game at times, and won the ball for the goal. We must see his total, not just his bad moves. - Rabiot. 7. So good to have him back. His composure, his positional sense, his strenght and teqnique. Great player. So important. - Bartesaghi: 7. 19 years old and his first derby. Im so damn impressed. He looked so mature tonight. Augusto did very little, also great blocks from Diouf when he came on. - Leao: 6. Struggled big time in the first half, Acerbi closed him down. Involved in the goal, and worked good defensively. Wasted some good counters. - Pulisic: 7. Easy goal, but he is always there. Pure instinct. Run most of all, and are so lively. Probably our most important player overall. Until now we have conceded two goals in the matches against Juve, Napoli, Inter, Bologna, Roma, and Atalanta. That insane numbers. Our problem is the focus against lowe teams. Its all about determination and focus. The quality to beat the minnows are certaintly there. Forza Milan!

I agree. Mike Maignan was simply flawless today. Penalty used to be his biggest weakness, but he just blocked two in a row. Maybe I am cynical, but I have mixed feeling. If he keeps it up, I don't think he is staying with us. EPL teams may offer 8-10M salary easily for that kind of performance. He is only 30 and GKs at his age can easily play at high level for another 5-6 years.

After pulisic sub we went ultra defensive, as a neutral fan we need to be honest about this game , it could of been 3 or 4 nil for inter tonight. As you rated MM he deserves all the praise. Without 2 of these three , rabiot , modric and Pulisic our team is lost. We need to attack as a team like inter did.

I think the only reason we defended so deep the last 20 minutes is because we don’t have a proper striker that can come off the bench and help continue the attack. Nkunku is more a second striker. Allegri’s system requires a big, strong and physical striker to partner either Leao or Pulisic. All we have is midfielders to bring on so we had no choice but to play defensive.
We really need a couple strikers as Gimenez isn’t good enough. Nkunku may be able to play in a 2 striker set though so I would keep him but let Santiago leave. |
