Summer Mercato 2026
Roma def looks scary this season. Gasperini bringing the energy needed
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
He bought transfer dude from Atalanta he worked with, so... I guess their reinforcements will be less depressing (for their fans) then those during last decade(s)... assuming board provide at least some money.

The only positive coming out of a loan + option for Nkunku is that his massive wage would be off our book for this year, but then, I read some new report (not sure of its credibility) that we still have to pay a portion.

That transfer last summer was so weird. Made zero sense when it happened, still zero sense a year later. There was many other deals that later turned out to be a complete failure, but at least they appealed to make sense when we tried to get them first.
We had crooked, corrupted SD who was doing "combinations" with his buddies, so no wonder...

Nkunku and Gimenez are lost causes. 75M in a trash bin, no way to recover it fully. A tiny portion of it? Maybe, if everything goes well, though I highly doubt.

A positive thing to know is they are willing to pay 45M for Leao. Great if it happens.
Leao to Galatasaray may actually happen, for the 45 million

Yes, it actually looks like it could be a done deal.

45 million and get rid of that salary is fantastic.

The decline the last years has been immense but i will thank him for som great memories. At his best he was a world beater, and attraction not just for Serie A, but for the whole world. He was unplayable in the Scudetto season, and the smile was constant.

I will remember him most for:

- Those three assist in the last game to give is the Scudetto. Just insane.
- The assist against Napoli in CL. Insane run.
- The fastest goal in Serie A history against Sassusolo.
- The brace against Inter in Serie A.
- The smile when he dribbled. Almost like a happy child. That mentality never changed unfortunatly. Still a child who just want to have fun.
- His breakthrough goal against Fiorentina. Wonder goal. We lost, but everyone knew who Leao was after that goal.

I wish him all luck in the future and thanks for all the good memories.

Forza Leao!

Definitely some good memories.

But he couldn't be motivated by playing at Milan, how can he be at Galatasaray or Aston Villa when what he really wanted was top of PL or Barcelona? Maybe just the change of scenery will help him, I don't know. And if/when he's not here anymore, it doesn't really bother me anyway.

Also, he's not sold just yet... Can we pull it off this time? I believe it when I see it.

Two offers reportedly accepted:

Galatasaray --> €45m + €5m bonuses
Aston Villa --> €8m loan with €42m obligation to buy
Romano: Como reach full verbal agreement with Milan for Samuele Ricci, here we go! Initial loan deal worth €1.5m, salary fully covered by Como, €22m buy option clause.

Horrible deal. Losing an Italian player who would have been useful for depth and European lists. Reinforced a rival on the cheap.

I had relatively high hopes for Ricci when he signed, but if he contributes to Como what he contributed to Milan so far then there's no need to worry.
