I am speechless. Not sure whether to laugh or feel pity about Inter. I know for one thing that Moratti should go. I want Inter to do well in general only because I love the derby so much that I wouldn't want us to beat them everytime like a mid-table team. But, I won't complain if they go down further either.

They don't really have enough quality players to compete in two demanding competitions and they collapsed even at the chance of equalling Lazio on 3rd and Conte's best effort to help (*cough Borriello*cough).

Anyways, the scudetto is really ours to lose now. Good thing that Montolivo will be suspended for the next game and Viola are in deep dung now. The last time we played them the referee was downright awful. Let's hope we get a fair one this time.

come certamente sai, il Milan è stato vittima in due recenti occasioni di altrettanti errori arbitrali: nel corso di Milan-Juventus e di Catania-Milan non gli sono infatti state attribuite due marcature, peraltro decisive ai fini dei risultati, perchè la terna arbitrale non ha visto che il pallone aveva superato per intero la linea della porta.

Le persone - e dunque anche chi dirige una partita di calcio - commettono inevitabilmente errori. Tra questi ultimi, però alcuni sono davvero molto difficili da accettare, pur mettendo in campo tutta la ragionevolezza e la comprensione disponibili. Tali sono quelli di cui per ben due volte il Milan è stato destinatario.

Mi rendo conto che soluzioni tecnologiche, quali quelle proposte da più parti, potrebbero trovare ostacoli e non essere accettate dal sistema; penso però che non vi sia ragione per non adottare anche da noi l'istituto degli arbitri di porta, già praticato dall'UEFA in Champions League: non prevede, mi pare, particolari accorgimenti e non ha alcuna caratteristica di "alienità", ciò che potrebbe invece addebitarsi a sensori, moviole e simili. L'obiettivo di tutti, anche fuori del gioco del calcio, è l'eliminazione, quando possibile, dell'incertezza: credo quindi che quel che ti propongo si debba fare al più presto e mi sento di escludere che tu non convenga con me.

Dear President,

as you surely know, Milan has been victim in two recent occasions of two arbitral errors: during Milan-Juventus and Catania-Milan two goals were not given to Milan, which were decisive to the results, because the three referees did not see that the ball had crossed the goal-line in its entirety.

People - and therefore also those who referee a game of football - inevitably commit errors. Among these aforementioned though, some are very difficult to accept, even fielding all the reason and comprehension available. Milan has been the recipient of said mistakes twice.

I realize that technological solutions, which have been suggested by many, could find obstacles and not be accepted by the system; I think though that there is no reason not to adopt the institute of goal-line referees in Italy, something already put in practice by UEFA in the Champions League: it doesn't entail, I think, any particular devices and it doesn't have an "alien" characteristic, something that sensors, slow-motion replays or similar might.
