Messi, Cesc, Iniesta, Sanchez, Allefay, Pedro, Piqué, Thiago, And Basquest are all between the age of 23-27, I would not call that a declining core of players. Their problem lie in a replacement for Pugol.

As long as they can find another capable defender(not mid playing defense) , and manages to keep Messi, Sanchez, Cesc and Iniesta, they will always be a top team. Would they be the best team, it depends on who they sign and how other teams improve.

Cesc, Sanchez, Allefay, Thiago -- are not the core of this Barca squad.
As for the rest, their gamed drops significantly if they don't play with Xavi, Iniseta, Messi.

These three player are really the core of Barca.

Both Sanchez and Cesc only started playing in Barca this season and pretty much got spots in the starting 11, they are core of Barca, as their styles compliment Messi.

Beside, Xavi is only 32, and the style that he plays ain't physical, he should have at least another 2 yrs in him.

I think as long as Messi is healthy and can maintain his level of play, Barca will always be fav to win CL.

To be on top for years takes lots of focus and committment,we can see tiredness from braca this season.if they can overcome mental fatigue next year, they are still the team to beat.

Besides barca,Our ibra tactic is also at a disavantage position to play real. ibra tactic require whole team to press out,and that's what real is built for, wait you attack and play you quick group counters, with their players quality,it's very effective.the best tactic to play real is also to counter them.

I feel for Fabregas. Big Grin He is just like Ibrahimovic, except that Ibrahimovic at least dominates the domestic league (well, up to now).

Honestly, I don't feel a bit sorry for Fabregas. He left the team he was captaining for Barca "because he wanted to win trophies".
He flopped in both decisive matches against Real and against Chelsea, and Barca crashed out of CL / La Liga title race.

I say, he got what he deserved. Okmilan

But Cesc, did not set a date on BBC and call it the DECISION.

He basically went home. It just so happened his home is very rich and famous.

Few words from Paolo Bandini concerning Aquilani.

I think we should keep Aquillani. He is being sold at a discounted price and I just don't see us spending top money on any midfielder. When he hits form, he is a very good player (like before his injury). Another good thing about Aquillani is that he can accept a bench role.

Lets keep Aquillani, get a free Montolivo, hopefully work out a cheap deal for Ganso, and then we can see where that gets us.
