Summer Mercato 2011
Ibra and Boateng are both on the loan with an option to buy from Milan.

Ibra's payment is 24Mil Euro with 3 installments of 8mil Euro being pay out in Aug 11, Aug 12, and Aug 13.

Boateng's payment has not been make public.
This thing about Ibra (and Boateng too) really puzzles me. At first I (and I believe I'm not the only one here) thought we were initiating some kind of new term in mercato: a loan but with obligation to buy and at a discounted price.

That was then, but after reading the rumours about City's interest, I'm not sure anymore. Perhaps there's no such a thing as "obligation to buy" and it's just a usual loan with option to buy.

Either way, I hope he'll stay. In todays football it's almost impossible to find a player of his capability and proven records for 24 millions.

Actually, from what can be read everywhere, Ibra isn't officially a Milan player yet (loan) but will be kept at the end of the season no matter what ... So you are right, it isn't an option but an obligation to buy.

But at the same time, we can do whatever we want once he is our player, if we want to send him on loan with the same kind of deal (loan + sale then), or with another deal (simple loan or simple sale), we can do it ...

So if the guy goes to Manchester City for example, he will go there by coming from Milan and not Barcelona ...

It's the way I see this deal work !!

And anyway, Ibra has to stay at least next season too.
One should not speak ill of the dead.
So stop laughing at Juventus !
if we sign ibra, we will just pay 8 m euros to Barcelona next summer, and however we can use Borriello in Boateng deal as they were interested in him also considering defensive problem of them, we can use the likes of Bonera, Vila, Papa in the deal as well...

On Ganso, Leonardo vs Thiago Silva as both calls him and talk with him about inter and Milan, Thiago Silva notices Leo's danger in Ganso deal and trying to avoid it. Whatsoever, Robinho and Pato are sleeping?

From Primavera, Verdi is the most talented player, i'd like to keep him in first team...

Milan offered 12 m euros to City for Kolarov( SourceBig Grinaily Mirror) (Some says its euro, some says its pounds)

Kolarov is offensively very good, uses the ball very well, his crossing and shooting are pretty good. Offensively he is the right player for us...

Anyone know if this true ? i hope it is http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-...s-transfer
If the ganso transfer was a matter of who can convince him to come to inter or milan, then thats pure stupidity how is ganso going to choose leonardo over robinho who seemed to be close friends with him back at santos.. Let's not forget the difference between what we did with Kaka and what Inter did with Coutinho. No offence coutinho is garbage, kaka wasnt regarded as being one of the best talents in the world but we sculpted him into that. Brazilians flourish at milan, look at thiago silva to be honest he was pretty unheard of around europe until he played for us now hes amongst the best CB's in the world. So would Ganso rather turn out like Coutinho? or like Kaka. his decision coutinho maybe young but they havent made much of him
It seems as though Milan have NO IDEA what they want to do with the Left Back position.. They know they need to buy, but they don't know who....
yup new names every day.. kolarov is the most recent rumor

tbh i feel perfectly fine having abate as our main RB hes been great huge improvement he can still improve alot.
Kolarov real strong links today in the british press..12m city dont mind once they can sell on a player for money that they think will not be good in the long run

The world don´t start/finish in Europe, man...

So... in your opinion, if Ganso chose a Brazilian coach that is giving him advices about European game and life he is being stupid, right? You couldn´t be more wrong. The only thing I saw on the press about Allegri and Ganso is that our coach rate Lamela high... This is stupid!!

He´s close to Robinho, you´re rightt. But Julio Cesar, Maicon, Lucio, Coutinho also know him very well. Plus, he´s close to our rival coach, too. You can´t overlook it...

Pro football isn´t played only in Europe. Kaka was playing at an amazing level in Brazil before landing in Milan. He was one of the best young talents in the world, and it was not his fault people didn´t watched him at São Paulo. Plus, you talked as if Kaka was groomed in Milanelo before gain a position on the first team. Remember, Kaka came and won a starting job at the begining. Milan didn´t develope him in 2 weeks. He arrived and sent Rivaldo and Rui Costa to the bench from the start.

Regarding Thiago, he was playing at the actual level in Brazil before landing in Milan. Please, this Eurocentrism is outdated. With internet and stream it´s easy to watch a player anywhere.

We have a great chance to land Ganso, but Inter also have their appeal. Ganso has strong reasons to chose us or Inter and we can only hope Galliani can do his job to convince him...
