He is (and has been) below par the last season or two while on the other hand Handanovic made many, many more clean sheets than him. And don't forget his huge salary.

Last season Buffon was number one gk handanovic number two and abbiati in third saving 75% or so of shots on goal, so IMO handanovic is an improvement on cesar.

Poor Fiorentina. They've had agreements with United and Berbatov, paid the first installment for the transfer fee AND two plane tickets for the player and his agent. Their fans were waiting outside the airport and it turned out that Berba landed in Munich!
Apparently Juve, perhaps trying to live up to their Ladri spirit, hijacked the deal on the last minute. When Juve thought they had stolen their target from their sworn enemy, Fulham sneaked in right before the finish line and won the race by the nose. Or so it's said, nothing is official yet. I thought our breaking the deal due to dental issue was embarassing
