Finally Hernanes rumor. If he does come to Milan, I think he will make a bigger impact than Ganso. Just imagine getting Hernanes and Ganso. Then when Real gets Bale, Milan will swoop in for Mercelo. Too bad Luiz is gone to the Blues.

Wow, Berlusconi stated in an interview if we win the scudetto this season that we will sign TWO big names, aka champions in his own words, i read on goal. Along with Ronaldo he plans on signing one other big player, according to a source from italy i follow on twitter he predicted it will be ronaldo and ganso with additional midfielders and defenders - a revolution almost in comparison to the already competitive milan were seeing right now.
I can't seem to grasp any of this because we went from a completely aging team with forwards like huntelaar and boriello to a quite rejuvinated team with forwards like ibra and robinho and cassano, and as Berlusconi never breaks promises but doesnt make many promises to begin with, we should see the addition of Ronaldo AND Ganso? Isn't that a bit much? When I think rebuilding I dont think having an attack consisting of 300mill worth of players :S None the less I wont complain
Here's the article:
http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/69/transf...the-summer
EDIT: The article actually states more than two big names sorry**
OTher news inter are being strongly linked to Nasri as Wenger apparently is demanding completely different names for half of his starting 11, and he needs more budget to do so. Sneijder looks like he'll go to Manu , nasri to inter, whos getting the better? Manu. Imo Nasri will be a good player no doubt but can he last in seria a? Sneijder proved it, Nasri didnt. Inters morale&confidence right now = 50%, sneijder aka the core of inter only hopes of anything gone, 50% will go to 0. The way things are going now it makes me wonder, Morattis either giving up because the laws of physics are coming into play and he knows Red&Black are the real colors of Milano, or he's run out of funds.
REgardless imagine a milan squad with additions of hernanes, mexes, astori, taiwo, ganso and ronaldo.. that would be insane!! WORLD XI right there
but i doubt it will happen, more realisticly we will probably end up with ganso, sahin, mexes, taiwo.

And in any case Real will demand something huge besides cash, at least Thiago.
Not if Ronaldo wants to leave:O if so, im sure a nice 10mill off what they bought him for will put him in the red&black jersey I'm hoping so right now, I wish the mercato was right now and they signed him i would go crazy I'd celebrate almost as much as italy when they won the world cup ronaldos been my favorite player since his early manu days
Lets say Milan spend 200mil on players this summer. CR7(26), Hernanes(25), Ganso(22), Astori(25), Mexes(28), Tawio(25), payment for Boateng(25) and Ibra(29), as well as re-signing of MVB, Ambro, then the sale of Papa, Bonera, Dilac, Legro, Flamini, Cassano, and Oddo.
Plus the emerging youth of Merkel, Strausser, Verdi, Polashi(on loan), Alberterzzi(on loan), Zigioni(on loan) and Berretta. Milan really do not need to spend any serious money for the next 3-5 years.
In short, maybe 200Mill is alot this summer but when you divided that up, it is about 40-60Mil per year.
IMO, we'll add Ganso (or another player if we fail to reach an agreement), a few useful players here and there, and maybe one big name, but I doubt this guy will be Ronaldo ... Unless there are problems with the sale of Kaka', there is no way Ronaldo could arrive in Milan this year.
Just a good way for Berlusconi to make medias concentrate on Milan, and a good way to put Milan on first pages without being in the CL anymore ...

IF you ask me, it sure better than wondering if Pato or Silva is leaving Milan....
Even if CR7 won't come, just the idea of Milan having a chance to sign someone like him (JM stating he will leave RM if CR7 leaves.) is something that is great.
is this very good photoshop or a leaked photo? you decide

geez a couple poor games and everyone forgets his impact.
Short of etoo, there is no CF we could have who would have us in 1st place now. Yes he's been poor now, but how much did he carry the team first half?
ibra's contribution this season is undeniable. However, one could argue that as brilliant as he was first half of the season, he's been somewhat a liability in the second half.
I'm not saying get rid of Ibra, as we need a player with his physique and aggression up front, but there are fair arguments as to whether he's the player we need to keep.

Hulk's a good player and has been great this season, but in all fairness Neymar's on a different level in terms of what he can become, a phenomenal player with all the potential in the world.

I think in allegri's system at mezz'ala he'd be very good. High work rate, good technique, good defensively
-----Ganso----
Monty----Boateng
-----Anchor---
would be a good set up because monty and boateng's work rate and movement up would give ganso additional options. Which is what we'd need if we went back to a system based on a treuqartista. It's too easy to mark out a #10 if he isn't super athletic or dribbler (like a prime kaka for example). But if CMs can push forward and forwards drop back (like robinho, cassano and ibra do with ease) it's not a problem.
The opposite is what jube did w/ diego last year. 3 cm's who stayed put and 2 forwards who didn't drop. Diego was marked out with ease.
I'm not that keen on Montolivo, he's a talented player but not one who dominates matches and often disappears when needed.

forget barca... that team would get 80% possession
Hernanes would really work well in the position Seedorf and Pirlo have played on the left midfield if he was to be brought in. However, I'm unsure what the reality is as some places say we want Ganso and Hernanes, others say it's one or the other.
Personally, I don't think under Allegri we'll hold possession like Barca. For one they've had years to get to where they are and every player knows each other well. The other is Allegri likes to play direct attacking play rather than possession play like Barca or Ancelotti's Milan, meaning we're not a team that will hold possession all game, but one that's pretty deadly when in possession.

It's definitely photoshopped (not very well imo). You can tell by looking at the sleeves.
Ibra is just in a slump, he will be back to his best soon. TO be fair, name another striker you would rather have instead of Ibra? Torres? Carroll? Rooney? Eto? or Villa? I would take Ibra over any of them any day.
Cassano on the other hand is a different story.

I ask to you, MM members: what would you do if Manchester City was to come tomorrow with a "24M (price of Ibra) + Dzeko" offer tomorrow ?
I mean, I almost didn't see Dzeko in Manchester City, and it seems he has problems to adapt ... Is it worth taking him ? If yes, is it worth taking him to replace Ibra ?
I seriously don't know what would be the best thing to do if that happened ...
