When Pato was not scoring THREE GAMES ago, some of you wanted him to be sold for 50mil, as your arguments were, he is injury prone, and make stupid decisions, does not play for the TEAM, and that he can never be THE MAN for Milan like IBRA.
For all those who began to say Ibra costs too much and that he production had been bad since Jan., I really don't recall any of you saying that in Jan, or Feb or March or THREE GAMES ago.
Kept saying Ibra is a UCL flop, but lets look at stats, Ibra got 4 of the 7 goals Milan scored in this year CL. While the other 3 were scored by Pippo, 2 in 1 game, and Dinho. Not sure about you guys, but it were not for Ibra 4 goals, I am pretty sure Milan would have been eliminated in the EUROPA CUP, as they would have not qualify for UCL to the next round.
IF Milan did not qualify for the knockout stage of UCL, I am pretty sure we all will be discussing whether or not MIlan can keep hold of their stars instead of wondering which stars they can sign in the summer.

You just can't say "If there were no Ibra's goal, Milan would not... etc". It is just like saying "If Ibra were not playing, we could go to quarter final since he was flop in Champions League".
We don't know what would happen with Milan in CL if Ibra didn't make goal or didn't play. Ibra could be not a flop in CL but he is still not a word class decider (like one single goal from few chances) like Sheva, Izaghi or other strikers in Champions League. Just like Pato who still find his way to be that kind of striker. We don't have yet the type of word class striker (Inzaghi is still here but I am not sure if he is still that type of player considering his age).

I don't want Ibra leaves but he keeps playing like in his last games, there is no sense to keep him. 3 games ban after coming back from same ban is product of ridiculous attitude. When he played great, it is very normal many people forget his weakness but when he almost did nothing or only did little, what came out should be the rest of what he didn't do well.

Your argument is sound.
BUT according to your theory, I think even Silva and Nesta are expendables if money is well spend.

My point is not saying Milan can't survive without Ibra, but rather how a lot of you are turning against any player the moment someone else is picking up the slack for him. As stated earlier, it started with Sheva when Pippo and JDT were scoring in 2003, then Pato just THREE games ago and now Ibra, Heck some even want to give up on Nesta when he was struggling abit in mid season. Maybe I am being too harsh on some of your opinions and views, but for crying out loud, we are Milan fans and Milan fans got to have more class than that.

You can argue that you want Ibra to be gone b/c he has not been performing since Jan.11 or being stupid for getting sent off again after suspension; but don't say his price tag is not justify or that he disappears in big games or that he needs the team to play around him or he slows down the team play.....As none of you were saying that when he was leading Milan to victory after victory on his shoulders.

Lastly, he might not have great stats since Jan, but he has been working hard on the pitch.

I am only making a point by stating Ibra pretty much carried Milan this year in CL. He did score more than 50% of Milan goals in UCL this year.

Javier Pastore at Milan? Not only rumors. Palermo's ace is a real target for the Rossoneri as well as Ganso, more than Sanchez and Lamela. Born in 1989, the Flaco would be ideal for Milan, the man that in Allegri's game could pair with Ibrahimovic and Pato.

As usual, the problem is the cost: Zamparini asks for 60 million, but Milan are prepared to invest no more than 30-35. It seems an impossible negotiation, but also Ibrahimovic's acquisition seemed impossible...

Galliani is working to get a huge discount, in the light of the bad performance that Pastore is giving at Palermo in this second part of the season. Many clubs are also interested in him, such as Roma (the new sporting director Sabatini brought Pastore in Italy), Juventus, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona. However, Milan are in pole position.

Siregar, the 3 match ban is a joke, ok, his attitude was weird/bad, but he didn't deserve a 3 match ban for sure !! It should have been a one match ban, seriously, if he had tackled hardly a player, he would have been banned for 2 games ... It's a weird decision.

can you please tell me where you got the Berlusconi quotes on Robinho, I haven't seen them around, it would be better if you tell me what he said entirely.... I was waiting a long time for someone from the management to praise Robinho.. he's been our hardest working player besides Silva all season and probably most consistent too, he never complains when he's benched even though he doesn't deserve to be.

I hope Robinho stays.

It was a direct red card so the rule is (I think) that it's automatically at least a 2 match ban. Then it's his 2nd red card this season in addition to a whole deck of yellow cards (8). I think all of this is taken into account when the ban is set... That said, if he actually did swear at himself and not directly towards any of the refs the ban is ridiculous.

Maybe we can get Fernando Torres at a cut price? Seems like frustration is growing over him in Chelsea. I'm sure he's not become a bad football player over night, Chelsea is probably just not the right place for him to be.

I share your sentiment mate. It's ridiculous sometimes the way some fans treat our players. It was all pure ecstasy here when we signed Ibra. Nobody, I repeat, NOBODY even questioned his price/salary, especially after his so-called flop with Barca. Not then, not when he settled in quickly in the first half of the season. And now all of a sudden he doesn't worth a sh*t. It's pathetic!

You also mentioned about Pato but another good example is Allegri. I always believe that a player's (or coach) performance must be judged on an annual basis, or in some emergency cases, every six months.

For a coach, the criteria would be did he manage the achieve the targets set earlier or not. Although not publicly said, with the players at his disposal, and the reinforcements that came later in January, we can assume that our target is the league, while striving to advance as far as possible in UCL and Coppa. Only on these respects can we judge his performance, and do so by the end of the season, not on week 5 (?) like when the Sack Allegri thread was opened.

The same rule must be applied to the players too. And it's relatively easier to rate a striker's performance compare to, say, midfielder, because we can always point out at his number of goals or assists. And in our team Ibra tops both of them doesn't he? If this knee-jerk reaction is to go by, Seedorf's contract must be renewed since he played superbly in the last two games.

Thanks Nalx. Like I said, you can't say Ibra is useless and overprice, as when he came we all knew he is a so call flop in big games with high wages. Yet nobody mentioned that when he was scoring evey game.
