20 mil is very generous offer. Galliani is just faking all this trips to Brazil to make on of the rich clubs offer bigger amount. PSG and Chelsea won`t have any troubles throwing 20 mil for Pato, maybe even Man City. Seeing how the whole bargain started at 15 mil I believe Galliani is fishing for 20 mil which in all honesty is very good offer.

If we cash in on both Robinho and Pato and having in mind that Pazzini will be gone in the summer we should really consider Lorente. He is free in the summer and I don`t believe he will go more that 4 mil on wages.

there are rumors suggesting that,nothing concrete. But its not like he has convinced to be honest. He is good player but not the type that I would go for. We need more skillful and agile forwards who can operate outside the box too.

Pato is a gut-wrenching project for Milan. His potential (even though it is sad to say that as he is 23, not exactly a young age to talk about "potential") is there and enormous, and there aren't many in the world that are as luckily endowed as he is. I can understand if the management does not want to let him go, because at the age of 23, he still has a good 10 years ahead of him if he remains healthy and committed. But that has proven to be a huge IF based on the past few years through which Pato has signficantly regressed.

But I don't like the idea of a loan, particularly one with the option to buy. That to me is the worst: if Pato sucsks, we are still stuck with him; if he gets back to his old form, then he is gone.

I am ok however with selling him with a buy-back option, just what Barcelona did when they sold Romeu to Chelsea.

On 4 August the English club announced the completion of the transfer, with the player signing a four-year contract in a deal worth €5 million. The deal also gave Barcelona first refusal via a buy back option should Chelsea deem him surplus to requirements, seeing Barcelona pay €10 million in 2012 or €15 million in 2013 to bring him back to the Camp Nou; he was given the number 6 shirt for the 2011–12 season.

yeah a Buy back option would be good.

Loaning him is bad, as we wont get the 15-20m of his sale for that, and then we can not invest that money in a replacement for him or for a defender.

Berlusconi: Pato or Robinho to stay

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has admitted that he wants to keep one of either Robinho or Alexandre Pato come January.

Both strikers have been linked with a winter move back to Brazil recently, but the club's owner has claimed that he would like one of them to stay.

“Efforts will be made to retain at least one of Pato and Robinho,” he told reporters outside the team's hotel in Rome ahead of their match in the capital tomorrow.

“But I understand their nostalgia to return home.”

Well, if we are to keep one, I would rather it is Robinho that stays for the rest of this season. I don't think it is unfair to say that Pato at this moment is nearly useless.
