i have a question, tevez might be for sale this summer, if yes
would you give up the right to keep Ibra in order to sign tevez

It would certainly be very very very very tempting. Tevez has high wages though as well, and would require a huge transfer fee. He's excellent and works so hard for the team.

However, then we'd have all small 'Second Strikers'..... no target men...so may not be a good idea.

If we are to buy another striker, he must be a lethal finisher IMO. We shouldn't look further than Paloschi, who I'm sure will become a quality player.

i always felt tevez was at his best as lead striker though. With man utd when they won treble (he was infront of rooney) and with city, when it's often a 4-5-1

Kind of like Pato in sense, second striker by trait but lethal finisher/plays best at lead.

Sure I'd do tevez for ibra. City might too. Yeah he's short, but that hasn't been a major problem.

Tevez is great, but in no way is he going to do for us what Ibra did in the first half... If we were giving Ibra away - we really shouldn't look further than Neymar. He is Brazil's response to Messi. The kid is phenomenal and Milan always wanted to buy the best players of all time and till today they regret not getting Zidane or Ronaldo (in his prime)... It looks like we will be getting Ganso which is good, but if we have a place in our attack it MUST BE for Neymar. He is playing so good consistently, shoots with both feet, fast.... not that strong yet but that can change.

Neymar's wages won't be as expensive as Ibra's or Tevez's.... Neymar's price should be around 30-35m...

Having the attack we have + Ganso is already hard enough to believe...maybe we shouldn't be too greedy..

Tevez and Ibra are both great players, but to think that Tevez can do what Ibra had done in Serie A is a dream. I am not saying Tevez will struggle in Serie A but I think he would find it more difficult than scoring and creating goals than in the EPL.

As talented as Neymar is, I still think he will find it difficult to score in Serie A and won't be as good as Ibra for the next few years. Personally, I really want to see Neymar at Barcelona instead of Serie A at least for till he is develop more physically.

Ibra struggles to score in an easier league in La Liga. Ibra would struggle in epl cause he's generally lazy.

LEt's not forget Tevez has performed better for argentina, won a bola de ouro in brazil (big deal for an argentine) and performed in epl and ucl. He can play anywhere. He won't struggle. He's very strong for his size and hard to disposess

Besides, who has been best goal scorer in serie a? Di Natale. Is he huge? What about Pippo for Milan? Movement and effort are underrated skills. Getting behind the defense.


Besides everyday I feel Ibra is a hinderance on Allegri's tactics. When ibra's in we play ibra-ball. Without him we are more fluid. I watched his cagliari regularly.... his team was based on lfuidity in attack and defense. Midfielders forward, forwards back defending. Interchanging play. Cossu (a career RW) was CAM, Matri/Nene uptop, but the trio interchanged. Lazzari at LCM got forward like seedorf has been (and pirlo did) etc. I don't get why he's so ibra-obsessed. We might benefit more playing without him if Pato is fit...And if we could sell him, we'd certainly benefit from a forward like Tevez or Di Natale or vucinic or Forlan etc. etc. I don't say these as players I want, but i mean forward but as examples of player who links up well, fights for team and has interchanging play.

What ibra did for us? Yeah ibra was immense, but not enough credit is given to robinho, boateng, Gattuso and pirlo. The combo trio of attacking players linked up beautiful and gattuso's form was immense.

Eitherway we won this season's scudetto because of two players... Thiago Silva and Nesta. Best CB combo in serie A. Potentially best in world. Ibra didn't exactly score a lot and his finishing bar a 2 month period has been poor. His finishing is worse than Robinho, statistically.

We won a lot of games 1-0 this year. In previous years we drew 1-1 or even lost. That's the difference in us winning this title and being short last 5+ years...

As far as coaching goes im really pleased with allegri we can't say he's not a top-notch coach.. i mean other then his late subs and his early-season hardon for bonera he did everything right. We beat inter 3-0 not only because of our players performance but allegri even said we will play a tight game, he did just that he basically out-witted leonardo on EVERY level.. ibra or tevez? ibra... we keep forgetting his beautiful half field goal or bicycle kick against fiorentina and all the other crucial goals hes scored for us. the second half of his season was generally bad or else he'd be in the top 3 highest scores, definitely ahead of matri he has 14 goals that would be around 20 right now surely. ganso next year is gona be good, neymar of course id love to see him absolutely LOVEto see him at milan but at the same time but he needs to get A LOT stronger hes a stick in seria a no matter how much skill you have strength is also neccesary i know hell grow but id rather see him grow in brazil and get his playing time

Look at how teams generally play against Di Natalie and how teams generally play against Ibra? Di Natalie plays on a mid table teams, where teams would not park the bus to defend. Same cannot be said about Milan. Also according to that, I guess Di Natalie should be playing in Milan instead of Pato, and Ibra, since he is the top scorer in Serie A with cheaper wages than those two?

You kept mentioning that Ibra struggles to score for Barcelona, but what about D. Villa, who is arguably the best finisher in the game today, a proven goal scorer in La Liga and yet he only scored 18 league goals for Barcelona in League play? On top of that, he actually did not score a goal in more than TWO months? Does that mean Villa is crap and he is over-rated? Then again, isn't Villa leading the attack of Spain, aka the best team in Football too.

I don't think Ibra will struggle in EPL unless he plays in some mid table team. Know the way Ibra plays, he will do well in EPL, and probably be more toward what Bergkamp did rather than Berba.

As for Tevez, like I said, he is a great player but to think he can be like Ibra to Milan, Inter and Juve, thats a stretch.

As for T. Silva and Nesta being important, I agree with that, but you do need someone to get that ONE goal for MIlan. And as far as I can see, Ibra always have a hand in that ONE goal.

saw him live at san siro. Couldn't have a worst taste in my mouth. Walked all match, screamed at everyone about passing to him. Wanted everyone to work 100% for him, and did none for them. Always complaining 'balls too high' 'balls to low' etc. etc. I'd honestly NEVER seen anything like it. Like he's above everyone. That's not a team player. I'd rather watch robinho miss 10 chances but work his ass off with pato

I can't handle that attitude. Same thing ronaldinho did except ron smiled and shrugged. Obviousy Ibra is much better but i think he limits our fluidity and potential.

Look no further than tottenham. He was slow and static, and v. a decent side, it cost us all the goal scoring opportunities despite having heavy possession for 3 out of the 4 halves

I won't deny his abilities, nor will i say i'm not bias, but I just don't think he's worth his wages or transfer fee to us.

Gabriel I agree with you 100%, once you have the name of best anything in football you'll be tested to the fullest hence the best years of a players career are when there making that name for themselves - plus after the first half of the season teams knew what ibra was capable of and saw what he was doing for us he was marked alot more after the fact. Ibra will go down as a seria a Legend. He's done great things at Inter,Juve and milan .
On another note - Why doesnt silva get this attention from the media like vidic and terry and so on get.. he's better then both of them hes the best CB in the world even better then pique puyol anyone you name.. i hope the world cup in brazil he makes his mark like hes been doing for us he deserves big things he works so hard for the team and is unstoppable i wish we had more depth in the back so we couldvve played him in the midfield more often this season since thats where we lack most and he does a good job just his creativity isnt the best but he could work on it easily, besides its not what he was brought up for but a player of his quality can be world class in almost any position
