Perrotti is a quality player, his dribbling and crossing are nice...He is fast...But he is more a winger for 4-4-2...He lacks finishing and movement for 4-3-3...
Lamela looks interesting compared to Ganso...But he didnt show anything for his price tag, 18 m euros...But Everyone speaks high about him as better version of Pastore...
i'd take Lamela if his price would be lower instead Ganso if its up to me... i have a feeling that Ganso will fail at Milan...you know my reasons...

If you notice, allegris midfield isn't very defined. I think he can play in Allegri midfield in diamond. Allegri used Cossu (a career RW) in CAM and he led serie A in assists.
The key is if we have pirlo or a proper pirlo replacement. Then we just got an unbalanced 4-4-2. You got a passer, a dribbler AM type (even if it's wide), a box to box player, and an anchor

I like it. Ganso is a player who can slot for pirlo or perotti.
I've said it before, but I really like Allegri's tactics because there is a lot of fluidity and not defined positions while still staying organized. He's definitely a great hire. Will be a great coach in milan's history when it's all said and done

Lamela has class. Left footed Pastore/Kaka type. But having watched a few river games, he's not there YET. Pastore tore up clausura before palermo signed him. I remember it vividly, because I had a friend who was living in Argentina at time and he emailed me 'check out javier pastore' so I made a point to watch his games at Hurcan. Kaka tore up brazil. Lamela hasn't yet, though he's a full year younger than both.
Keep in mind. Pastore turned 20 during Clausura he dominated and eventually transfered to Palermo. Kaka turned 21 during spring he dominated at sao paolo and eventually transfered to Milan. Lamela turned 19 less than a month ago. If he stays in argentina he'll light the league up next year like Pastore did
He nearly went to barca at age 12. But it was just a couples year or so after Messi and Messi had been showing stuff at age 17 in barca so argentina FA stepped in and stopped Lamela from going. He's been best player in his age group for years. And does play a barca 'brand' a football
Lamela typically plays AM in 3-4-2-1 this clausura. He's tall. He's #10. he's got an EXCELLENT left.

If we missed on Ganso, in an ideal world we could get Lamela or Lucas and someone like Nasri. Bring them along slowly.

i dont see us signing Ganso in this conditions...Santos always warns us over Ganso...They always say that we need to pay 40-50 m euros...Which is too high for a player like Ganso...
i see us renewing Seedorf's... He performed great lately and with low costs, one year contract, he can stay for 1 more year... Pirlo not...
i dont like this kind of midfield, Pirlo on the left and Boateng on right, As i said before, i dont see him perform same there because he lacks dynamism for LCM or RCM... He can play when needed but as a starter i dont know... Our midfield would be slow...i want dymanic, who runs a lot, 2 way midfielders, who move a lot, drive with the ball, who can press, fast, tecnique and skilled...For CL, We need midfielders who can make the difference...
Constant is big, strong, skilled and can play 2 part of the game...Aquilani, with loan, im with this deal...He could be useful...Fast, skilled and small...2 way midfielder...Who can play CM or LCM...But im not optimistic about his injuries...

How can people say pirlo can't perform at LCM? He played it 3 times this season (pre-injury). His 3 best performances. He had freedom to push forward and make the pass, like he does with italian NT. It's about balance. Pirlo is best passer, having 1 passer in midfield helps. Passer, box to box type, Pure anchor and dribbler/AM-wing type. Perfect balance no matter where they line up.
Clearly we need a long term replacement for pirlo. Hernanes or Sahin are most obvious named. But Pirlo can definitely have squad role even if we were so lucky as to get one of those guys...
Aquilani wouldn't be worst choice if we can't get hernanes or sahin. He's much more technical than monty. And he's shown a good amount of aggressive, defending. He's not ideal for a 2 man but in a 3 man, he's no liabiilty.
Did you know Aquilani has won most tackles of anyone on Jube's team?!
Aquilani- 2400 minutes, 83 tackles won
MArcisio- 2625 minutes, 71 tackles won
Melo- 2169 minutes, 68 tackles won
Obviously with him, injuries are a big risk. So I wouldn't pay heavy for him

I think our entire game plan going into this summer is to sign as many free agents as possible to fill in the holes on the team and spend the entire budget on one star player. We seem to already wrapped up Mexes and Taiwo; still in talks with Farfan. These three are probably the best three free agents in the market this summer. And our entire budget goes toward the star in the making known as Ganso. Got to be honest, I like this plan. Star power and solid squad players without spending a boat load of money.
Speed is not crucial requirement for playing as CAM behind two striker in 4-3-1-2 formation IMO. How the player knows when to hold the ball, play with the ball to build the play and play-make the game and be a connector between the midfield and forward are significant ones. Robinho can't playmake the game and be connector either. Boateng is unable to build up the play but he can connect the midfield and forward. The CAM must be naturally supported with quality players since the position is very important in the formation. If he is surrounded by 3 DM who can't make random-quality movements, open and search for a free space, the CAM will fail. Opponent can mark the CAM with a strong DM but he doesn't necessarily need to be a Hulk to be able to escape from the DM. The CAM needs only to be clever with his movements.
About Pirlo, I agree with Ca-Rossenero. He was just so great when he was given free role on the left side. I really hate when he got injured against Roma. Games when he played as free-role left CM were in IMO his best games along with his deep-playing playmaker's games when he was supported by Seedorf and Gattuso with Rui Costa/Kaka in front of them.

Guys I have to share my thoughts on something that is bothering me lately....I am very satisfied with Allegri in general(bar some mistakes) but its clear that he has a vision and knows how to deliver,and he is a keeper.however I can not help but think this Porto coach is such a great prospect....his tearing the Europa and Portuguese league apart...He was Murinos assistant in the first year in Inter. and i`m afraid that Morrati will snap him, and its going to be a problem cuz the guy is amazin and is 30 + years old.

villa boas is a good coach. But I have faith in allegri. He works with a really flawed squad. I'd love to see him get reinforcements to have a team similar to carlo's best ones
NOt another year of Slowdorf, can he just leave. Thanks for showing up lately but you are crap in general, leave the team and go to the States.
We all kept hearing a new cycle.....but if guys like Slowdorf, Pirlo, Oddo, Bonera, and even Ambro are hear for another year, how do you start a new cycle with players who can't play anymore.
