Summer Mercato 2011
İbra got 2 unexpected red card and got 5 game ban...Vice ibra will sit on the bench at the most of the season...When ibra missed, probably it will be less than this year as i dont expect him to get 5 match ban like this season... However There is no need to spend 30-35 m euros on a vice ibra...especially we need world class midfielder signing for midfield trio...
Also we should give our young player to chance for step up... Berretta is talented player... He is very strong and has good place...his movement is good... i'd rather to have him instead Borriello, Amauri or Carracciolo...İnzaghi+Berretta is enough...We will have much more options in attack with the arrival of Ganso or Lamela... Vice ibra wont get much mins...
if we sign Hulk as vice ibra and he will stay on the bench and waste of money...
I think Borri can be convert into a LCM. He is big, strong, hold up the ball well, can pass, shoot, and play a team game. I think he can do it, as long as he learns how to defend.

On a more serious note, there can never be a vice-Ibra. As we are really talking about a 3rd or 4th striker in a lone striker starting Eleven. Therefore, it will be a waste of money spending 10mil on him or paying him more than 2 mil a year. Thus, unless, Milan can uncover the next Drogba or Ibra, it is a waste of money. They should just use Berretta instead. As the chances of all Pippo, Ibra and Pato be unavailable again is quite unlikely.

Out on Free: Janku, Seedorf, Pirlo, and Legro
Go on Loan: Dilac, and Strausser
Out on transfer: Oddo, Bonera, Papa, and Flamini
Return to loan team: Amelia
Free agent signings: Mexes and Taiwo
Transfer in: Hernanes/Honda, and Ganso
Return Loan: Astori

I think the sale of those 4 should at least be 20mil, and that should cover most of Hernanes on Honda price. Thus Milan will only spend 30mil the whole summer and all on Ganso.

Oddo 2M at max, Bonera 5M (very generous price for us) at max, Papa 7M at max, Flamini 9M at max. so AT MOST 22M, and at least....

Oddo 500K, Bonera 2M, Papa 5M, Flamini 5M. 12,5M at least.

Primavera game live

Calvano, Strasser, Fossati, Verdi and Berretta in same line up...
I like number 5. He is strong to keep the ball under his order when he gets one. Really hard to steal ball from him. No wonder Fossati doesn't play there right now (but there could be other reason why Fossati plays in more forward position now.

Piscitelli; Sampirisi, Albertazzi, Pasini, De Vito, Strasser, Calvano, Santonocito; Fossati; Verdi, Beretta.

4-2-3-1...Defensive Line...De Vito as LB, Samprisi as RB...Strasser no11 Santonocito No 5 then Calvano, Fossati and Verdi

in attack we see Berretta as lone striker...

Santonocito was more impressive than Strasser in this game... Creative trio, Calvano-Fossati-Verdi looks good.

Calvano scored a great goal. He is creative and fast...

so is it still on?
The game finished 3-1...They switched the stream to Palermo-Bari game after Calvano scored...

Rodrigo Ely still not a starter...Pasini and Albertazzi are playing together for a long time, maybe because of this...

Calvano played as CM but he played a bit different today, Right winger... i think that best place for him 2 way midfielder at midfield trio...

Santonicito was more impressive due to his skill/dribble to protect the ball but Strasser was the General in the midfield IMO. As I said in game vs Roma's thread, Strasser looked too mature for this competition. It is good sign though since it should mean that he has been improving a lot since joining the first team (I remember his last year performance was still rough, still had to improve a lot in many aspects to be able to play in senior team but today he showed that he doesn't belong to Primavera anymore IMO. He was just so robust and looked like as an experienced player for primavera players.

so I was on the right link. darn it. but thanks for your response. Smile and good to know that milan won. Smile I heard that Empoli's youngster team is very decent, like Atalanta.
