I'm not convinced by Sherwood at Spurs, but City look good under Pellegrini. I'm not surprised though, the guy's a very underrated coach and City actually have some interesting people in management actually building for the club. We're not just talking about a club that spends without thought now.

Moyes tactics

Saw the ManU and Fulham game last night and I do feel sorry for Moyes. He pretty much did everything right and yet the results aint there.

EDEN HAZARD! as a Belgian he's one of my favourite players for a few years now, and under Mourinho he has become a great player. He's a joy to watch. a mix between Ronaldo and Messi.

Don't care much for United but I cannot at all see why they'd hire Moyes as their manager.

It was widely believed that Mourinho was keen on replacing Ferguson, but apparently his style of football was too boring and his personal style too controversial and antagonistic according to some at the club (like Sir Bobby Charlton). Fair enough, I agree completely.

But then, why Moyes? His style of football is every bit as reactive and uninspiring, but at least Mourinho's teams are tactically astute. Moyes' United, and his Everton side from what I remember (though to be fair, I mainly watched them against better teams), are like a typical one-dimensional British mid-table side. Sure, Ferguson always relied on wingers, but he had for the most part great ones like Giggs, Becks and Ronaldo. When your best wingers are Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia, maybe you should try something else. And when you sign Juan Mata (one of the best no.10s in the league) you should definately try something else and not tell him to whip in crosses.

And is Moyes really that much less of a whiner than Mourinho? Every game it's: "we were unlucky, we were unlucky". When you lose that much it's clearly not about luck.

If Moyes remains at the club (he has like a 37-year contract) it will be interesting to see which of United and Milan will get back to the top first - and who will sink the deepest...

I agree. Hazard has been amazing! I wish we could have him.
