Summer Mercato 2011
I think there is a huge differences playing against boys your age or playing against men 10 yrs older.
When young players played against others their age, they tend to rely on talents more than anything else. Where once they play with men 10 yrs older, they realize that mostly everyone around them is as talented as they are.
Are you kidding, right?? I care less for his hair if he plays great for us. A thing I doubt will happen...

Btw, where is the cancer(Robinho) that would bring trouble to our team?? I´m waiting for the news of him partying(like you said) at Milan, too... can you help me? ahahahah

Sorry, but I can´t control myself, mz Devilol

god i hate robinho stereotypes.

Also the 'he can't finish'

just checked-

Robinho- 95 shots, 14 goals
zlatan- 116 shots, 14 goals (3 which were pks)

robinho's been consistent on finishing every 6 to 7 chances he creates. Which is good when you consider, what else he brings in terms of movement, creation and general play. I love the guy. Excellent versitile player. I see why he + kaka were the core of dunga's attack. If Dunga was less stubborn and brought someone like hernanes as an alternative to his midfield, they probably would have won WC. The netherlands game was screaming for a player like hernanes to come on and 'calm' the play
After a not so good performance from Lamela against Boca i still think he will out do Ganso.. First off neither him nor Ganso have proven themselves in Europe, so the only things we can really look at is raw talent, if we speak of talent between the two with the two year age difference as well where 19-21 is also a big space for improvement like how Pato put on great muscle gains, we must look at these when considering who to buy. I think neither one of them will be able to have a noteable impact when they are first brought in, regardless a season or two it will take for them to mould into the team and be more developed/get used to our and seria A's style of play. This is why I think Lamela is the better option , bring him in for cheaper so we can buy a direct starting CAM, like Honda or Hernanes, proved themselves either in world cup or Seria a in hernanes case and consistency through out is good enough to proove worthy of Milan. Ganso and Lamela we can't call more then prospects, they wont have a direct impact on milan .. Kaka was also a prospect when he joined us, but he earned a place in our starting line up and we also had other CAM options to rotate with him. This is why I think it would be smart, once they mould into the team our temporary CAM whether Hernanes/Hamsik/Honda any of those players have the versatility for a midfield role whether it be LCM/RCM/CM can be moved there after.

You compared striker who is bad at finishing with striker who is also bad at finishing. No information we can get from it except both can't shoot well.

Yes, Robinho is consistent in shooting so many goals with only making few goals from so many shots. His goal ratio (goal to total shoots) was only 14,7% (according to the data you provided).

I am not happy about Robinho's and Ibra's abilities at scoring. They can be very important in a the League where they still have chances if they can't score in a couple of games but not in Champions League where a single goal could be extremely important.

Conspiracy theory. Milan agree to send out its strongest team to beat Udinese in the final game, which allow Lazio to get into CL. In return, Lazio will need to sell Hernanes to Milan.
OK guys, in the last week alone we have been linked with all these great attacking midfielders:

Ganso (22), Nasri (23), Hernanes (25), Hamsik (23), Pastore (21), Lamela (19)

Personally here's how I rank them:

Price:
Pastore - $35m
Hamsik - $30m
Hernanes - $25m
Ganso - $22m
Nasri - $18m (last year on contract)
Lamela - $16m

Potential to be a great player at Milan (character and how they suit our players/formation)
Hamsik - 80%
Ganso - 75%
Hernanes - 60%
Pastore - 50%
Nasri - 40%
Lamela - 30%

Keep in mind we could also sell Cassano to either Napoli/Genoa/Palermo for at least 15m which could decrease the sum we will use for an attacking midfielder.

Which player would you guys get if you were in Galliani's shoes right now? Assume all the current conditions of Ganso's injuries, Zamparinis price tags, Lotito's hard head etc.

Which they won't want to if they do reach CL.

MILAN! MILAN! SEMPRE PER TE!

I'll believe it when I see it. In the meantime [yawn]......
That was quick. Footbal Italia had a story earlier about our prime target being Pastore. An little while later, complete denials.

Obviously management is focused on current player extention negotiations and don't want these variables floating around during talks.
