maybe it is mis-typed. it is probably that he is not ready to pay €23 million, or he is ready to pay €2.3 million, or he is ready to pay €2-3 million. Icon_lol2

SES and DES play whenever they are not injured
Cristante was injured when the chance for him was clear
Saponara was labelled as lazy-ass by many members here
Niang and Matri? Equally bad. And Matri is our homegrown talent

I think our youth system is not as good as we expect:
- We use different philosophy for first team and young teams. Let look at Barcelona.
- Our youngsters are not good enough to play right away like DES, or they need a very long time to develop and we couldn't give them such (Abate, Antonini, P Aubameyang, Paloschi,... and even Matri or Borriello)
- The head coach doesn't really know about the young players (hope Pippo can change this)

Niang equally bad ? Impossible to say so, very talented striker who was very useful when paired with balo. Not to mention that he was a very good team player. This opinion has been backed many times before. He's just not consistent in front of goal... yet worth four times matri. He's really young, but has good potential as a winger.
Oh, so I should say both are equally inconsistent in front of goal Big Grin

Niang is a much better forward than Matri, since he xan actually dribble and score.
Cristante can be as good as any CM in SerieA as long as he plays.
Saponora, at the very least can be a solid player.
THEN youvhave the superstars in SES and DES

I think the from Jan on everygame was like a cup final that we has to win ,Seedorf prefered using more experienced players instead of Cristante Petagna etc...Essien was just Galliani knowing the name seing games from 2004-2009 & getting a hard on when he could get him.

Saponara well he is the epitome of average.Hes slow lazy (by his own admission) poor decision making will not track back...and hes not applying himself in training again his own admission...If we could get back half of the €4m we paid gor half of him id snap it up.

23 euros in a million installments is more like it Sagrin
New reports say we're lining up a 8.5mln euro offer for Muslera.. I understand we need a goalkeeper, but I really dont rate Muslera. If we're going to buy a good goalkeeper we need to either buy someone like Perin who can be world class, or an already more proven goalkeeper like Sirigu. We might aswell just use Agazzi if we're going to buy Muslera, that 8.5mln euros should be used for our defense and midfield.

I haven't seen much of Muslera at Galatasary other than maybe 5-6 games where I didn't think he was anything special, but more importantly when he played for Lazio I didn't think much of him at all. Anyone else know about him? If he'd be an improvement? Maybe he improved the last couple of years because 8.5m isnt a cheap pricetag especially if Galliani is willing to pay it.

Apparently this caused more speculation because in a report on Milannews from 2-3 days ago he said he'd like Balotelli as a teammate.
"Balotelli lo prenderei in qualsiasi squadra, lo vorrei come compagno. Mi piace, è uno che ha carattere".

I personally hope its bs, I'd rather buy back Darmian who was impressive today against Ireland and had a really good season.
I think young players need time to develop. Time means match time, making mistakes and still having the trust from managers.... Thats something Milan lacks.
We can go back as far as 18 yrs ago with Davids, Viera, Kluivert...then players like M. Laursen, F. Coloccini, Darmian, Antonelli, Aubayang, Starusser, Polashi and Niang.
Looking back, young player(24 and under) must be really really good to break into the Milan squad unless a huge injury crisis or whatever. Guys who are prettymuch WC or shows that they could be WC, Pirlo, Sheva, Kaka, Silva, SES, DES, Mario and Pato. What Milan lacked for the past years were depth and I think there are a lot of potentials within the Mikan ranks and a few of them are WC, like SES, DES and Cristante.
^ really accurate post imo you got it spot on - it's not that we don't give a chance to youth, we really only go for the ones that show this immediate world class potential, even if they do and make one fuck up they're gone if Niang isnt enough evidence, even though I think he's got a lot of growing to do. We forget about depth, however right now we have depth, our starting line up should be our depth, because 90% of them aren't good enough to be in our starting 11.

Darmian was amazing today against Ireland imo. Such clean touches and smart runs, his crossing is also very intelligent he switches it up a lot. DES swings in some good crosses, Abate aims for the Mars rover, and Emanuelson cant defend. Darmian would be a really good option, I saw some really good stuff from him today, after an amazing season with Torino. Calm, composed, but it was his crossing (most critical component of a good fullback imo) that was very good, very clean.
